The Alaska Fitness Club, foraged my signature on a 12-month membership commitment form. When I requested to cancel my membership, they told me that I signed a contract to have a membership with them for a year. However, I knew that I did not sign the document and had copies of the other paper work I completed but nothing to do with said contract. Once I informed their accounting department, I got an email the next day with the said document that was not signed by my self. The signature on the document that was claimed to be me didn't match my hand writing or signature what so ever. I informed them. They were hesitant to believe me at first, but eventual told me I can cancel my membership and there will be no charges to my account. The issue is resolved, but I would hate for this business conduct to continue in the future.
