That Place

Hart is a small town, so there is limited places to eat. I have been a weekly customer at That Place for more than 4 years. About 3 years ago, myself and my son developed food poisoning from undercooked chicken wings. I refrained from eating there for awhile, but ultimately concluded it was a freak accident and went back. On November 23rd, 2019, I placed a to go order. After returning home I realized they forgot our french fries and after tasting the mashed potatoes and fried chicken, called the restaurant to let them know the milk they used in both was spoiled. They were rancid. They agreed to credit me with food substitutes whenever I wanted, so yesterday, I ordered the same thing again ($40 worth of food). Upon returning home this time I realized they again forgot our fries and an order of mashed potatoes. I called and they asked me to drive back and get them. I did. I got home and took one bite of potatoes and threw up. Again, sour, rotten, rancid. I continued to vomit 5 more times throughout the night after that one bite. I'm very thankful my children didnt have the opportunity to eat them but I'm just fed up with being ripped off by this restaurant. My guess is that they dont do enough business to go through their products and instead let things sit until they are gone; disregarding how long it's been since it was made. The smell alone from the potatoes was enough to make the rest of my family gag as it literally smelled like chunky, sour milk. Having been ill twice now from their food, you'd think they would offer a refund. But, no. Just another offer for more rancid food. This is no way to run a business and I'm pretty ashamed this is in my hometown.
