I've used these young guys for thre years now and they've always been super-responsive and have kept me ahead of the property tax folksI've also recommended them to friends who have had equally positive experiences
This company has protested my taxes for the past two years and has achieved sizable reductions both yearsI am very happy with their services and appreciate their commitment to producing excellent results
Texas Tax Protest sent me a last minute letter claiming they could reduce my taxes by up to $per year Actual results were $all of which was consumed by their fees payable when the protest was final
WARNING: The Appointment of Agent for Property Tax Matters and Contract with Texas Tax Protest are perpetual! Unless cancelled, this is not a one year agreement You *** be obligated to pay them year after year after year regardless of the outcome
This is a Neutral review because they did protest my taxes as agreed I feel that I could have done no worse on my own and *** do so this and subsequent years
Thank you very much for all of your work This made a huge difference to us and we really appreciate it
On May 19th, I emailed Laura at Texas Tax Protest requesting her to contact me about their services I never got a response Despite this, Texas Tax Protest took it upon themselves to file a protest on my behalf Only after they filed the protest did they reach out to me to get me to send them the paperwork they need to represent me in Property Tax matters
I had already hired another firm and given that firm the required paperwork, but when the firm I hired rightfully filed my protest, they were told that a protest had already been filed by someone else
I now am left to clear up the confusion with my county appraisal district and the firm that I had hired to represent me
I consider this extremely unprofessional Stay away
They did a great jobRecommended
Texas Tax Protest helped me get an exemption filed which got me a huge refund AND protested my taxes. They somehow got my assessed value LOWER than my foreclosure purchase price! They saved me over $1,000 in the first year plus I got a refund for years of over payment on the owed exemption. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I'm happy and will continue use their service.
I asked this company to send me a form for representation however, I NEVER filled out the form and sent it back to them after I had read some bad things on the internet about the company. My current representative is telling me that this company is also showing as my representative for the Collin county records. This is the first time I have hired someone to protest my taxes therefore I am 100% sure there isn't any ruminants of an old case. I never hired this company.

This business offers two services - homestead exemption filing services and tax protest. I do not recommend their services due to the high fees. They charge hundreds of dollars for filing homestead exemption. The process of working with them to file is more complicated than doing it on your own. I recommend you do a simple Google search for hcad homestead exemption and follow easy steps. You have to file a form with your license copy and that's done. Harris county made the process simple.
Don't know how worth it is to use their tax protest to reduce the value of your home. They charge 40% of what they save, which is too steep. But, this process may be more time consuming. I am doing this on my own as well. In short, I spent 2 hours and saved 1200 dollars of fees, by filing homestead exemption on my own. Worth it.
