Texas Health Cleburne

My son is a type 1 diabetic and was admitted on Jan 16 2019 to the icu department at first he had excellent care and monitoring of his sugars then the 2nd day after keeli the rn left her shift no one came to check on him during the night to see if the lavamere he was given was even working or helping him. No one came in at all his nurse was Duncan that night he never came in to check and the next morning my sons sugar level was through the roof. His electrolytes were back to low my son was very aggregated with his care and felt he could do this on his own compared to the care he received and signed himself out and left the hospital. I'm so upset and aggregated with the disregard to his health issues and this was an icu patient left to his own devices I will never take him there again. A patient in need of help should never feel unimportant in an icu department im livid over this matter
