Excessive harassing collection calls being received by this office 3-4 daily. I contacted Amy at Texan Credit Guadalupe St. location 06/05/19 and told her to please stop EXCESSIVE phone call daily which are stored on my phone call log for verification- to which she denied. I was also informed by Amy that this business was NOT going to stop the Harassing calls until I paid them. I am NOT disputing the fact that I am less than 30 days late as per contract dated 05/03/19 which states first payment of $59.15 is due on 06/03/19.This loan agency which seems to be acting more like a "loan shark" agency does not seem to know that there are federal and state laws which prohibit demanding, Harassing collection tactics. Both Amy and her supervisor are extremely rude and not at all people friendly. I am sure I am not the only customer that is subject to their rude and abusive behavior. Their tactics seem to be a bit harsh for a mere $300 loan. I subsist on a meager disability check and also suspect they are being disrespectful due to my permanent disability. I request that all contact be by mail and that they also stop the excessive phone calls to the references listed on my application as I have received word that they too are being harassed.

In response to the complaint filed by Carlos *** case # XXXXXXXX. I have reviewed the case and have found that the office did not break any policy of Texan Credit.
I do apologize that the customer feels he has been harassed, but we do have policies set in place for our offices to follow in the event a customer defaults on their loan.
Mr. claims that our employees are rude and harsh with their collection tactics. I have spoke to the district supervisor Paola *** and instructed her to make sure our office is clear on the way they represent themselves and Texan Credit. We pride ourselves on customer service.
Mr. did request that all phone calls stop to him and his references. I have made sure the numbers have been removed from the account and no other calls will be made. The only contact with the customer will be made through the mail.
My issue involves the pe people that work here. I fell behind 2 months of payments due to issue with my job. I stopped working late decemeber because I was not able to get my workers permit renewed in time due to the government shutdown. My wife was in constant contact with the CSR in that office and they would not allow partial payments. She explained the situation to them and did not care. They harrased my wife every single day as well as the refrences to ask them if my situation was true. To my understanding they are not allowed to do that. If they were in contact with my wife what is the whike point of contacting the refrences? They would do it for malicious intent. Everytime they called my wife they would tell her "now what excuse your going to give us'" Im sorry but that is not how you treat customers. My wife contacted them again mid february once again they wanted the entire payment. She called them 3/2 because their was a credit inquiry. They pulled up my credit repot not to report past due on payment ( because I would understand that) but the explanation that they gave my wife was because the supervisor wanted to know if I was paying ny other accounts on time. What benefits them knowing that? They cant do that. I understand that they wanted to report my account in bad standing but just to nose around my credit report that is just plain malicious! I spoke to the supervisor 3/5 she requested me to go to the office. What for so she can talk to me apparently. She once again stated she will not take a payment until I go to the branch. I have two jobs I fell behind so much that I am trying to catch up. I work 10 pm to 6 am in one job and on the other 6:30 to 6:30 pm. I do not have time. That day that I contacted the supervisor they contacted my wife at work. My wife contacted back at 12:50 pm and got into a heated argument with the supervisor. She told my wife that we werent to busy to come and sign paperwork to get a loan we have to have time to come to talk to her in person she insulted us
Other (requires explanation) I need an apology from the company. They CSRs including the supervisor need more training. I need for them 2 put themselves in our shoes. I want a coorperate apology because no one has done anything about these people. I want them to clear out that inquiry were they pulled up my account. I want them to stop harrasing me and work with me and treat me respect and not humiliate me And harrass me.The way they are handling things is to pressure me and to make me feel humiliated.i want them 2 b unders
In response to the complaint filed by Julian *** case # XXXXXXXX. I have reviewed the complaint by the customer and found that our office has not broken policy. Since Julian feels that our office needs more training I did have the supervisor contact the office to make sure every employee is aware of Texan Credit Policy and following all Texan Credit Corp. procedures. I also advised the supervisor that all calls to the references of Mr. had to stop immediately. The only person as of right now that will be calling Mr. is the district supervisor Vicente *** or the VPO Rosario *** I have included the contact list and will see that the office did try to stay in contact with the customer and the customer would promise to make a payment and would break their promise made. We have reached out to the customer about the inquiry made on his credit report and have advised him that the only way to have this removed was for him to issue a letter to us. He told Mrs. Rosario *** that a letter would be faxed and we have yet to receive it. He can send the letter to Texan Credit either by fax 936-254-1901 or by mail to the corporate office at PO Box 130 and he can even drop the letter off at the Texan Credit Corporation office in Brownsville 3025 Bocachica BLVD, Ste. H1. On this letter he would have to state the date the inquire was done, his date of birth, SSN, address and a short description on why he wants the inquire removed and signed at the bottom. Without this letter we are not able to move forward with the removal. This letter is not a policy of Texan Credit Corp. but the policy of ***
I am very sorry that this customer feels that he has been harassed and humiliated by Texan Credit in any way. Customer service is very important to our company and we want our customers to be happy with our service we provide.

Nothing has changed with this company. I spoke to the regional manager and was very polite and very educated stated that the way things are being handled in a professional matter and according to her things are not being done in a malicious way and I was advised that they will not contact me. This past friday my husband was contacted and was advised that a payment was to be made or they would be force to take further action. He made a payment this was 3/29. I just recieved a call once again 4/1 to make a payment. And then the lady states "oh my bad I wasnt suppose to contact you, she laughed and hung up" correct me if im wrong. But this is harrasment and they are doing this in a malicious intent. I feel im being targeted for making a complaint agaist this company. Something needs to be done ASAP. I understand that I signed a contract with this company but believe me im trying my best to pay yall back but sometimes situations arrise that are out my control and ya'll should know that stuff happens but what should count is the attempt to pay the debt. But apparently your workers dont seem to care.
In response to the complaint filed by Julian *** case # XXXXXXXX, I have reviewed the call log of the office for Texan Credit Corp. in Brownsville TX. and do not find that the office has made any contact with the customer since 3/15/19 since we Texan Credit was made aware of the complaint filed as instructed. I have included the latest call log so that you can review the call log of our office from 3/15/19 to current. If in fact the customer was contacted by any employee of Texan Credit Corporation we do apologize and will make sure that it does not happen again in the future.

In response to the complaint filed by Daniel *** case # XXXXXXXX. I have provided in the attached file a copy of the contact info, most current application, ID, SSN, and contract. Texan Credit took over this office May 01, 2018 and you will see in the contact information provided the customer has made a payment since the change of ownership.

Collection Harassment at work place
I am aware that I have debt with Texan Credit Corporation and will settle that debt as soon as I receive enough money to do so I am facing a tremendous hardship and am working two jobs just to pay rent and utilities that I was used to two persons (myself and ex-spouse of 8 years) paying. My job forbids debt calls and I just received an email from a worker here at my work place that I do not even know (she looked me up in the employers directory) are am familiar with here at my employment telling me that she received a debt call for me from Texan Credit Corporation and they have called several other people here at my work they could cost me my job by harassing others regarding my debts. It is a highly unethical practice to do such a thing and involve others that do not personally know me.
I am asking that Texan Credit Corporation please do not call my place of employment any longer *** or *** any longer, I am okay with them constantly ringing my personal phone *** until they receive payment but do not call my employer any more please.
The complaint for *** case # *** has been received and investigated. In the conclusion of my investigation I found that the customer's account has been marked and the phone number for her place of employment has been removed as of 01/10/18.
company called my work and talked a another employee about my loan. got specific and told her they wanted to garnish my check and has called daily sometimes more then once a day.I have talked with them several times and told them I would pay this loan when I get some money. that my hours were cut and my husband had just went back to work. Lady still calls my work and talks to this employee I work with wanting information about the company. The employee has notified the manager but Lady still calls even though this employee told her she told management.I didnt think businesses could talk to other people about your personal business and harass you at home and at work daily. thanks
stop calling my work and me every day. i have already talked with them more then once. its called harassment an theres nothing the other employee can do about it. its embarrassing and not right
We are responding to the complaint filed by *** case # ***. I have investigated this complaint and I have found that we have ceased and desist all communication with this customer on 04/29/2016.
This account is included in Chapter 7 but is not reporting as such on credit bureau.
This account has been included in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy that was filed on 7/24/17, case number 17-12978.
Currently the account is till being reported as a collection charge off account with a past due of $661. By law the company is required to report the account as INCLUDED in BANKRUPTCY and CLOSED with $0 BALANCE. I have done more than one direct disputes with the credit bureaus and the company with no resolution.
Please update the account correctly to reflect a CLOSED status and INCLUDED in BANKRUPTCY with $0 balance.
We have received the complaint by *** Revdex.com case # ***. Our office has received and corrected the file for the customer. As of December 2017 Trans Union will reflect the correct information as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. I have included in the attachment the paperwork that was just received in our office that the customer had filed and a discharge had been granted with the CH. 7.
