The Cottage Housing properties run by this company takes advantage of young students. They have the young renter inspect on Move in, and then on move out they so a fine tooth comb inspection. They not only kept the damage deposit, but they charged additional $170 to replace carpeting for a small and I mean small strain, that they claim is a burn. And they charge to clean that same carpet that they say they are replacing. They did not replace it before the new tenant moved in! Nor did they clean it. They also did not clean it before they moved in. The refrigerator broke in the first week, and the washing machine ruined her clothes. Avoid letting your kids move into these properties unless you want to be charged extra fees.
