Review: We enrolled our 18 month old child in a Mama and Tot swim lesson series with Teri's and we are beyond disappointed. After the first lesson, we expressed our concerns, as there was literally NOTHING being taught. No instruction was given, not a single word of advice, guidance, nothing. We were simply playing in Teri's pool for 30 minutes and sent on our way. After expressing concern, we were assured both verbally and via email that future lessons would be structured from here on out and "will start all the repetitive drills for beginning the safety issues." One mom in our group was so unimpressed she asked for a refund after that lesson and never returned. The majority of moms in our group returned to give it another shot, however, by the third lesson, four of us had left the class and asked for refunds as we received literally ZERO instruction. We were paying to play in the pool. Teri continues to refuse our calls or emails to discuss this. We are extremely unimpressed by the unprofessionalism of this "business".Desired Settlement: We want a full refund because no services were rendered, no swim lessons were provided.

Teri’s Swim School
Response to unwarranted complaint.
Four moms signed up for our 4 week swim session. Did not even show up for the first week thus
starting already one week behind the
other babies.
As a courtesy we pro-rated.
First lesson went as well as expected when dealing with
BABIES allowing them to get used to new surrounding and strangers.
Second lesson hand outs were given to all parents as to what
to expect and practice when teaching BABIES in the pool. I have emails praising that lesson from
ladies of that group.
By the third lesson, once again some of the parents were out
of town. No notice given to us and we
abide by a 24 hrs cancellation which is clearly in print on registration
forms. At this particular lesson, one of
the BABIES’s dad decided to join the lesson but never brought his son into the
pool as the dad was having too much fun playing in the deep end of the pool
thus distracting the class as his young son threw toys into the water.
Please bear in mind that though this group was now on second
week of swim it was actually the 3rd week of the session.
At this point it was clear to both myself and instructor
that this was a disruptive group lacking the concept of following instruction
and I FULLY REFUNDED THE UNUSED PORTION OF THEIR SWIM LESSONS.
Checks were immediately issued and they quickly cashed
them. If they were that unimpressed,
they should of quit after the first lesson.
Why would anyone expect a refund for tying up much sort after swim spots
for three weeks? They prevented more
serious parents the opportunity to bring their children and disrupted those
that were in the class.
Half the class finished the whole session happily. The one mom referred to as “unimpressed and
asked for a refund after the first lesson” is completely a lie. After her first lesson, she and I met in my
house and she discussed her concerns about her child being much more advanced
then the other BABIES in the class and asked if she could be placed in a more
advanced class. I agreed with her.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The claims made in the business response are untrue. I have attached proof that she is fabricating facts. Attached are her emails quoting that the session was for 3 weeks, and proof of affirmation of the start date which she claims we were absent for, etc. Her claims that we did not show up, etc. are total lies. I am also attaching proof of the complaints that were presented to her after the first class via email, which she responded to claiming that safety drills and repetitive lessons would begin next lesson, however, no such event occurred. We gave this owner three chances to teach our children a lesson, however, at no time was ANY instruction given, whatsoever. By the third class, three moms had presented complaints via email or phone, which were never responded to until now with these stories and lies she is coming up with. I did receive a partial refund for $21, however, I wish for the remainder of my funds to be returned to me because I never received a swim lesson and did not sign any agreement regarding no refunds being given, etc. Teri agreed to issue 6 swim lessons for $65 dollars, and NO lessons were given. I want the remainder of my funds returned from this swindler.

Attached please find two emails from two of the supposed disappointed customers. I have highlighted their praise.
I would expect Revdex.com to respect the privacy of these individuals.
I stand firm with how we handled this situation and stand firm that the FULL REFUND FOR THE UNUSED CLASSES is all that this individual is entitled to.
