Review: In late February I went online to find address of Telesto Designs Inc. in [redacted]. I sent 4 e-mails but received no reply. The telephone number listed was no longer in service. Finally I received an e-mail reply from the [redacted], who gave me a [redacted] and a phone number ###-###-####. I wanted to return a pair of turquoise earrings I bought from them a few years ago which needed repair. [redacted] wrote that the cost would be $16 for repairs & shipping..On March * I mailed the check & the earrings to the address she gave me. I have the post-office receipt from [redacted]. The package arrived at [redacted] in [redacted] onMarch * and was picked up at 11:23 a.m. I did not hear from Telesto so I sent more e-mails. On March [redacted] replied by e-mail that she had received the package but she accidentally ripped my check when opening the package. She wrote that it was ready to be shipped but needed a replacement check for the ripped one ($16). She said she would return the ripped check with the earrings. On that same day I mailed her a second check for $16 to replace the original check she had torn. Neither that check nor my earrings have been returned. There is no reply at the phone # she gave. I don't know if Telesto Designs Inc. is still a legitimate business. I would appreciate your help in resolving this matter. The turquoise earrings were very expensive. Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I want a new pair of the same turquoise earrings I originally bought from them in the event that Telesto Designs lost the ones I had sent them and I want a refund of $16 for the check I sent them for repairs.

My daughter finally reached the [redacted] by telephone and she agreed to meet and return the jewelry at 10 a.m. on March **. She had to cancel the appointment and rescheduled it for 5 p.m. My daughter received a call from the [redacted] at 4:50 pm saying she was delayed and would meet her at 6 pm.Wasting lots of time. She did arrive by 6 pm and returned the repaired earrings and the original torn check satisfactorily. The replacement check I sent her on March ** was cashed on March **. Case is now resolved.
