Telefund, Inc claimed to be an organization I knowThey asked if I wanted to donate, and I gave my credit card informationThey sounded like they were the organization, they knew I donated to them and about the issues that the organization addressesThey called me from (213) 487-Don't give personal information (like your credit card info) over the phone unless you know who it is (even if they sound like an organization you know)

I am writing a this review because I am absolutely fed up with the insurance claims center GMFS contracts withThe insurance claims center gives out wrong and changing information every time you call and there is always a delay or new process they must complete before they can release your fundsHaving your house flood and dealing with your insurance company is stressfull enough, but this insurance claims department is on a whole new level of *** Hopefully, we will never sustain a tragedy like we did this year, however, I will be refinancing with a new lending company as I can not deal with the insurance claims center again
We sincerely apologize for the complaint raised by [redacted] *** After the notice was received, the phone number in question was added to our internal, “Do Not Call List” and Mr [redacted] should not receive any future calls from our organization We are not telemarketersWe are professional fundraisers who call on behalf of charitable and political organizations and are exempt from the national, “do-not call,” registry Mr***’s number was on a donor list supplied by one of our clientsWe are asked by our clients to reach out to these past donors until we make contact, thus it is possible that our number may appear on a person’s caller ID more than once per day, or several days in a row In addition, his telephone number may appear on several client lists because all of our clients espouse a philosophy that is shared by their donors, thus making it possible in this election season that he was called on behalf of multiple clientsI sincerely apologize for the aggravation Mr [redacted] experienced; if a recipient asks to be removed from the list, we honor that request By placing his number on our internal “Do Not Call List” he has been removed from all call lists, regardless of the charitable or political clientIt is never Telefund’s intention to avoid fulfilling these types of requests from persons we call Please let us know if any further information or action is necessary on our part to address this complaint Cordially, [redacted] Controller Telefund, Inc ###-###-####
