I cancelled my gym membership in midway through a month via Facebook messenger with the owners of the gym. The owners responded saying that I should "consider it cancelled at the end of the month". They then proceeded to charge me monthly membership fees until I noticed two months later when I noted an increased balance on my credit card when I hadn't used it that month. I messaged them again saying I was still getting charged for my cancelled membership to which the owners responded that they would refund both charges and thanked me for reaching out. One month later I had still not received a refund so I messaged the owners again stating that I had not received the promised refunds. Their response was: "We will double check and send you picture confirmation" I have not received any picture confirmation nor the actual refund. Getting fed up with dealing with the owners, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges through them. The credit card company sent the info of the dispute to the owners to confirm that the disputes were valid. The owners then lied to my credit card company saying that services were rendered before the cancellation of the membership providing a PayPal receipt that proves they charged me AFTER I CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP and stated that the services were rendered before I cancelled. My membership was cancelled in December and the last effective day was December 31. The charge for the January membership fee was charged January 2. There is no way the services were rendered BEFORE I cancelled in December. So not only have the owners defrauded me of nearly 60 dollars, they have lied to a credit card company claiming they rendered services when they did not.

I canceld my membershio with this gym via email on 9/12/17 via email. I received a reply from Team Wring that my cancel.was processed. I never signed a contract with this gym. On 11/28 my account was charged the monthly fee. I have requested a refund several times as my membership was canceled however I has not recieved.the refund or even a response
