In response to the complaint filed by [redacted] we find this complaint invalid and unfortunate she has not tried to deal with us directly to resolve. [redacted] signed a contract for her gym membership on June 9, 2015 committing to 1 year before she would be eligible to cancel. Her commitment...

date was June 20, 2016.  She never came in to cancel her membership after that date therefore as stated in her signed contract her membership auto renewed at the same member rate she signed up for. The last notes on her account are from 3/23/16 that she called in and updated her credit card on file for her auto payments to come out on the agreed billing date. No other contact was made about terminating. Her account remained in good standings until 10/20/16 when she started to go delinquent. A text message to the cell phone she gave us and an email was sent out each month from the 20th through the 30th letting her know payments were not going through each time we tried to bill her. In October 2017 we upgraded our software and phone calls are now being made by a member service team we have hired. We find her balance is accurate and due at this time. We do wish to resolve this on good terms and are willing to work with he regarding the balance that is due. We hope we can come to an acceptable agreement with all parties involved.
