I wish I can give a zero star rating to this store. Team Fishel is in receipt of the response (rejection) from Mr. [redacted] regarding the subject claim.
We have responded directly to the property owner via a phone call on 03/26/14, and have discussed this complaint by her tenant. We are sending all correspondence via US Mail on Thursday 3/27/2014. The property owner was unaware that her tenant had filed a complaint with the [redacted], but has accepted our tender in principle to resolve. The property owner will forward settlement funds to her tenant. Team Fishel feels valid [redacted] complaints of this nature be filed by parties having ownership to the property.
Team Fishel, under protest will pay Ms. [redacted]k (Property Owner) $300.00 to settle the dispute of her tenant Mr. [redacted], under the following conditions:
1. That the property owner executes the “Full and Final Release” and returns it US Mail to our Chandler office. Upon receipt of the executed Full and Final Release form, a check will be personally hand delivered to Ms. [redacted]k.
2. Our payment will be made only to the property owner, not the tenant, as the Full and Final Release must be executed by the owner of "real property".
3. We request that receipts (copies) totaling $300.00 be attached to the executed Full and Final Release form if available and possible.
4. Mr. [redacted] and/or the property owner contact the [redacted] in writing and declare this complaint "resolved".
5. Team Fishel would require that the issue be stated by the [redacted] as “satisfactorily resolved”, and all terms, documents and names be sealed from public view.
To date, Team Fishel has resolved all of Mr. [redacted]’s concerns with financial expenditures exceeding $2,850.00.
This is our final offer, and is based on the conditions above being met, Team Fishel considers this case and issue closed and resolved based upon the complainant’s acceptance or rejection.
We ave been told they are discussing this matter internally for over 2 months, and the liability they caused is coming up on 1 year. What is there to discuss? Team Fishel is clearly at fault and the damages need to be paid for.
The claim will be investigated and a formal response will be forthcoming.

A Team Fishel manager will contact the homeowner to schedule a meeting to discuss a suitable resolution.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The first event in this problem was the cut in the ½ inch irrigation pipe as well as the severing of the control panel wiring harness. Both of these events were caused by a sub contractor for Team Fishel, when they dug a ditch in my front yard. This same sub contractor spilled splicing grease on the west slab of my driveway. They proceeded to walk in it and did not report this problem to anyone prior to their departure. The sub contractor attempted to repair the irrigation system using my parts which included a tee fitting to couple the pipe together, instead of a coupling.. This tee fitting required a 3 inch nipple and cap, which is totally the wrong application. They tested the repair by observing the pipe did not leak where they repaired it and the sprinkler system in the front yards were working.
Approximately 2 days after the job was completed I observed numerous brown footprints on the west slab of my driveway. I called Team Fishel and [redacted] responded and ultimately recommended that the west slab be replaced as the footprints could not be removed. He expressed amazement that the sub contractor had not advised anyone of the spill and made no attempt to clean the stains.
Approximately 4 months later I observed a large leak in the irrigation system at the point of the initial repair by the sub contractor. [redacted] requested [redacted] landscaping to respond and repair the leak.
A sub contractor from [redacted] responded and observed a leak at both the tee fitting and a coupling that had been installed by the original sub contractor. He repaired both and neither leaked when the front yard system was activated. However neither of us looked in the backyard as the assumption was made that the system was operational.
Approximately 2 days later I observed that the backyard sprinkler and drip system were not working. I spent approximately 3 days talking to the [redacted] sub contractor as well as a technician from [redacted]. The sub contractor from [redacted] kept insisting that I had a bad control valve and my control panel was malfunctioning. Ultimately I made the decision that there was no water getting to the backyard and cut the ½ inch pvc pipe at the point of the initial break. I observed a total blockage of ‘blue glue” in both the tee fitting and coupling that had been installed by the original sub contractor. This blockage prevented water from passing through the pipe into the backyard. I have attached photos of this blockage for your review. I have also saved the parts for Team Fishel review.
I have requested a very modest reimbursement for the parts and labor to repair this problem which was caused by Team Fishel.
I feel confident that if a representative from Team Fishel met with me and inspected the fittings, that this issue could be resolved.
Regards,
Claim & Complaint from Mr. [redacted] at [redacted], Mesa AZ 85215.Project [redacted] – Job [redacted] – Total Estimated expenses borne by Team Fishel $2,820.00 to date. In mid-July 2013 Team Fishel dug a pit at the above address. Between digging the...
pit and splicing the resident ([redacted]) called and wanted his irrigation put back together during the splicing and project. [redacted] made an emergency irrigation repair so he could have irrigation in service.
After the job was completed, there was splicing grease on the driveway that could not be removed. Fishel spent $500 minimum, contracted [redacted] for $250, and ultimately removed and replaced ½ the driveway for $1,920.00.
In January of 2014 Mr. [redacted] called a complaint in stating that his irrigation once again did not work at the controller, and was leaking. Fishel contracted [redacted] to make repairs to all facilities in a large radius of the original pit. The repairs were made for $150, which consisted of re-gluing a PVC pipe, installing a segment of new control wires and splices. The system worked without leaks, but controller was old as all other wires and connections throughout the entire system (over 15 years old). [redacted] bypassed all control wires and determined that the system needs additional attention, all outside the realm of our original work or repairs. The estimated cost to bring the system up to operational condition would require $300, material and labor. [redacted] told Mr. [redacted] that Fishel could not be responsible for any of this maintenance or expense, as it way beyond the scope of any damages or repairs ever.
Mr. [redacted] called Team Fishel to request $300 for the additional repairs.
Our further research has found that Mr. [redacted] is a tenant at this address and not the property owner. I have found through the [redacted] records that a Ms. [redacted], who according to records lives at [redacted] in Mesa.
I have a found a few phone numbers for Ms. [redacted]: 1) [redacted] and 2) [redacted].
I am suggesting that Fishel call Ms. [redacted] and determine if she is the owner of the property at [redacted], and explain to here that we are denying this claim and any further claims against Team Fishel for our job [redacted]. If she is the owner, she should also be informed of all expenses by Team Fishel incurred at this address to date. Once determined and verified, Team Fishel would need to send a letter to Mr. [redacted] denying any further claims as well.
If any further concerns, please contact [redacted] at [redacted]
We will contact the [redacted] to schedule another meeting to discuss a suitable resolution to the complaint. We understand the disruption and frustration we caused but the monetary demands is simply not acceptable. I will contact [redacted] today (10/28/2015) to schedule the meeting.Respectfully, William P[redacted]
