We found a puppy that we wanted to buy & clicked on the option to buy it. After several text message exchanges, $750.00 was paid by Zelle to: [email protected]. Chris emailed us the the 'Certificate of America's Pet Registry' document & put us in contact with 'Courier.Everyday Delivery' for whom we are filing a separate report. This service was supposed to ship & deliver the puppy to our home. We never received this puppy. We contacted the 'America's Pet Registry' agency and they confirmed that the registration number was fake.
scammers are posting puppies for sale and only wants western union transfer.
Ordered and paid for two pug puppies, that were not delivered
This complain concerns what I believe to be a scam. I went on line to order a teacup Yorkie. The website advertised one for $500, plus $50 shipping for home delivery, if desired. After a series of emails and a phone call, looking at pictures, the wording used in the emails, and finally the method of payment lead me to believe this was a scam. Payment was to made through a money gram at CVS Pharmacy. One statement the seller made in the instructions, really raised a red flag. Quote: "Above is our Money gram information that you will be using to make payment as soon as you make payment get back to us with transfer information we will take of the puppy from the market and secure for you. And if is your first time sending Money gram Transfer at CVS you might be ask to whom or for what reason you are sending the money to avoid high transaction fee you should just have them know you are sending the money to a friend or a family relative out because if you tell them that is for your dog they know you can be taking for a breeder and they will think you are using them for business and will charge you very high for the transfer fee so is better you just let them is for a relative if in case you are being ask." Unquote. As you can see, grammar is really bad and totally sounds like they don't want to raise any questions about the transaction. I have a series of pictures they sent in emails, of the puppies, as well as pictures of shipping cages. A close look at the pictures, appears to show they are stuffed puppies. They did send one short live video. After examining the the wording, grammar, pictures, the manner of payment, reluctant behavior to show business or individual's name, phone number etc.,I believe it's a scam. The initial email I received didn't show a name in the closing. Finally, the price for the "Teacup Yorkie, was too good to be true ($500 should be closer to $900 or a $1000). I googled the subject matter for Virginia and found a couple of similar references that concluded a scam.
