Hi,I spoke with someone last week about re-opening this complaint This work as not yet been completedWe lost a few weeks in July when they were paving my street On 8/7, I let them know paving was done and was told "we can slide you in August" Didn't hear back until I contacted then on 8/and was told two more weeks I contacted [redacted] in April to complete this work Anything you could to help would be appreciated.Thank you, [redacted] ***
Customer's information was hand written on an estimate, and accidently filed away after work was completed 2014. Customer had contacted us to schedule top coat, and it was assumed his written estimate was in the finish in folder, and it was not. At the time, we were already
booked out until late August. WE had a large volume of calls from the winter damage and a back log of work from Our response time this spring was flawed, and we tried our best to respond as early as possibleLast year when we contracted the work with ***, he had a large sink hole in the drivewayUsually these sink holes are caused by a buried tree stump or unsuitable materials below. It was in the customers best interest to install only the binder coat and see if the area settled again, before spending the money to install a top coatWe dug down with an excavator and found nothingSo we backfilled, compacted, and installed the binder courseThere was a misunderstanding with the contract, and when I tried to explain to *** that there would be an additional charge for remobilizing for the top coat, he said I never explained that to him originally, and where it's not written into the contract, we will stand by the difference from the original amount of $to complete the job this year.*** requested that the project be completed on a Tuesday or Friday, when he is working from homeI've explained to him that we are currently working on a large site project in Mattapan, and will do our best to schedule accordinglyWe're trying to complete ***'s top coat in the month of July and close out the job
Revdex.com:
Just to be clear, it took five months of having to contact the company to have this work completed It was never "scheduled" to be done in July, it just happened that my street was being paved I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #***I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.
Regards,

[redacted] had to reschedule the job because his road was being repaved. I explained to him that we were booked up on a larger project and would get there as soon as the schedule allowed... He was not as understanding because it had been since May that he started contacting us. We completed the job yesterday and closed out the contract for the agreed amount. All parties are satisfied!Thank you!
