They are preparing taxes and charging people $600-$1000 just to prepare them I met one of the workers in December her name is Otisha she informed me that where she work they prepare taxes and guaranteed me a advance on January 1st I did not receive that then I was told I’d get it the 21st of January which I was completely confused about because I was also informed that the *** wasn’t opening until the 27th but needless to say I didn’t get the advance at all so I waited and yesterday morning Monday February 10th I was called about a check I had there I could pick up so I went down there and they handed me a check and said it got there Thursday February 6th so I took a look at the check it says my return was $812.59 they charged me $600 for preparation services $27 transmission fee $39.95 Processing fee and $89.99 service bureau fee leaving me with a $55.65 check out of $812.59. They did not inform me what the fees to file my taxes would be or the bank that would be issuing the checks.
