Mr. [redacted] from Tax MD gave my husband and I a full refund of $700 in exchange for my husband and I "recanting" our story and keeping the matter confidential. I DO NOT recant our story because the information I provided the Revdex.com is true and correct and did happen. I was grossly inconvenienced and I am still not happy about that.
Further, I feel this business needs to change its pricing (greatly reduce their tax preparation fees) or be closed down, as it is hurting the Greensboro community, which is already suffering in this recession. The exorbitant fees Tax MD charges is primarily to poor black and Hispanic customers, and this is not ethical because they are preying on these ethnicities' ignorance. I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on February 7, 2014 and conveyed these sentiments to him in person. Hopefully, he will take my comments into account as he is a black man and I feel he has a responsibility to treat other blacks (as well as any members of the Greensboro community) ethically and just.
