Taking advantage of mentally unstable, awful business practices, unprofessional, scammish, total loss vehicle, uninsurable and dangerous Vin concerns!
Selling shady vehicles with intent to reposes and financially destroy individuals with constant, repair, gouged sale price, repairs would cost more than value let alone priced payed at end of agreement. Taking complete advantage of someone with lower critical thinking abilities. Greedy and in going for years. Would hesitate to think a valid title exists
Reimbursement with monotary penalties.
I am writing in response to a complaint, case # XXXXXXXX, from a Mr. ***. When I got the complaint, I started looking through my files and I have no record of any business dealings with the complainant. Tarrant Auto Land has never sold the complainant a vehicle. With that said, I am not sure how the complainant can file this complaint and say these terrible things about my company and never have done business with me. Despite the complainants' lack of judgement, being he has never personally done business with me, Tarrant Auto Land has a desire to help everyone in need of a good, used vehicle. We have a systematic way of dealing with our customers, where everyone is treated the same and through our process, ensure that the customer is satisfied with their purchase. The process is very lengthy, and much information is required. It is very misguided and unfair for us to be accused of what the complainant is saying we are guilty of, because of the process we use in selling a vehicle. Every customer must go through this process of filling out multiple forms of information and waiting many hours for the deal to be completed before they can leave with a vehicle. It is our belief, that anyone who was mentally unstable would not be able to complete this process and would not be approved to purchase a vehicle from us. Also, to be very clear, every vehicle we sell does have a clear title. If you have any further questions, you can contact me personally at ***@gmail.com.
im a 30 year old single mother with a 6 year old girl. my income is 800 a month. I saved up enough down payment to get a car an went to Tarrent Auto
I bought a car from Tarrant Auto Land July 21,2017 around 3:30pm 2001 Isuzzu Rodeo with 206,000 miles with a down payment of $500 and total amount of loan is $3000. Making $200 monthly payment for 14 months. totaling loan for $3000. I left the dealership around 4:30-5:00pm after ding paper work. I was heading to daycare to pick up daughter from daycare by 6:00pm. I stopped at closest gas station and put $20 in gas. As I was laeving gas station the transmission went out on car and had no battery. I called them to help me but they said I would have to pay to have it towed back to tarrant auto land and pay $45 an hour for them to look at it and see whats wrong with car plus pay for parts. At the time I didnt have a dollar left because I paid them $500 down payment and didnt have a dollar left over and couldnt afford towing it all I wanted was my money back or a good running vehicle. and they wouldnt help me out with anything. all I could do I pay and have it towed and pay $45 hour plus parts to have it fixed, thats all they could do for me.
I want my down payment back. A total refund. I see this business had sold so many cars sold & break down on the way home & this business refuses to fix or repair.
THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY, HOWEVER SHE CALLED AND SAID SHE HAD PROBLEMS WE OFFERED TO PICK VEHICLE UP AND CHECK IT OUT FOR HER, AND WE DID . HOWEVER SHE DID NOT LEAVE US THE KEY SO WE COULD LOOK AT IT AND STILL TO THIS DAY HAS NOT BROUGHT US A KEY SO THE VEHICLE COULD BE CHECKED
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Key was in ignition
My car transmission act up three hours after I left dealership.
I purchase a vehicle from them 7-17-17. The lady *** who work the told me that they just got the car in. I paid $800 down and $20 for the title fee cash. But before I purchased the car I told her I was only really interested in only getting a cash car which I can drive off the lot that day because my license is suspended and I could not afford insurance right now. Three hours after driving the car around on my way home the car slowed up on me on the highway and it came to a complete stop to the side of the road. I called and asked where there's anything that they can do and they said they will send a wrecker out. A guy by the name of *** came out he looked under the car and he checked it out and said he can smell the transmission and advised that he would check it out and that's what he did. He took me home and took the car somewhere and then find out to he came he called me back and told me that he took it to at came out *** in fixing holes on it and told me that it would need a cap. He brought the car back to me. the next day I drove it to work and brought it back the next day to go get the camp and the lady *** told me that they will have to pay *** for the work and he dont remember saying this thing about a cap and she said he didn't say nothing to her about a cap. But he told her to go ahead and put some more fluid in the car. When *** the other mechanic was there he showed me where the fluid went and when he pulled the cap out it was a makeshift cap made with duct tape and a Coca-Cola bottle cap. *** did his best to try to find a cap that will fit on top of the transmission pan. But he only use the rubber end of a screwdriver and tapped it down into the hole and they told me until I was able to find a cap that goes on top of the transmission pan. He told me it should hold until I can get a cab or to my own mechanic and find a cab to go on top of the transmission pan. The next day I went to work and the car did the same thing it did the day that I took it over there to get the cap and start smoking and slowing back down and fluid start coming back out of the area where cult had just put the rubber end of a screwdriver down in the Hall of the transmission pan. I had to get another tow truck to come and pick me up that they sent out from another company because the first tow truck that came and got me the same day that I bought the car was one of their own. Not only did they allow me to drive off their lot without no insurance that day I bought the car now they're trying to charge me for the work and the tow truck fees that they did for the car. Not only that I forgot to mention that the hose that *** took off of the car where the fluid came out was also rigged with a black headband or a sock which I still should have in my car under the right seat. I have pictures of the sock I have pictures of the screwdriver that was stuck down in the pan and I also have voice recordings and tape recordings of the conversations that I had with *** and also we can that's where I was in the office with her the day that I came up there about the cap. They told me that it will not give me my car back until I pay the 1:30 the day that *** came and got me after *** told me in which I didn't have to pay him back they have to pay him and for the tow truck that they sent out this past Friday they had to come and pick me up again because the fluid came back out of my car.
I don't think I should have to pay for none of that and I was just for life for them to fix my transmission seal holes whatever that needs to be fixed right and we won't have another issue
I have already settled the matter with Tarrent Auto Land. I'm not the one who filled this complaint. It was a family member who also call them posing as a lawyer. A lot of the statements made are not true. They have been nothing but very professional in handling the issue with my car. So please disregard the complaint.
Thanks
