Tarheel Metal Structure

My 30X48 metal building was installed September of 2020. Noticed water damage to an interior room in July of 2021 and sent emails with pictures to Kim at Kinston office who referred me to Bob. The installer was out of town and they didn't know when he would return, but as soon as they had a job in my area they would send someone out to look at it. Several emails and phone calls later in October of 2021 they installer had finally returned from Mexico and would stop by and look at my building once he was done on a nearby job. After dark the installer finally arrived and after assessing the situation told me to apply caulk to the location he thought the water was coming from. After applying caulk on top of caulk on top of caulk I still have a leak. When I contact Bob again in February of 2022 his reply is that the year warranty was up and that I had signed the form the night the installer came out to look at it and told me to apply caulk.
Still paying for the building and will tell everyone I know or anyone who ask about my building NOT to go to Tarheel Metal Structures.

Bought 24x35 Building with concrete from Tarheels Metal structures and from jump it has been a fiasco. Bob assured me their contractors will do a good job and that the company stands behind their hired Contractors from start to finish.
Well , to start the concrete was not formed and pored to the correct dimensions therefore setting the structure installer into not having the proper amount of material when first getting here to having to come back a few times to complete, then tear whole building apart to start over and then due to their screw up having to come to a conclusion to add endcaps to seal the metal ends to appease the customer. Doesn't stop there the roll up doors I paid for I only got one of them and the one that is there is not sealing correctly due to the outer frame being skewed from original installer which j is giving it a gap for water to come on in and the roof metal not entirely reaching over concrete to run anywhere else but in the building due to the building frame sitting at an angle on concrete, there for rain off roof landing on concrete, rain inviting itself to the inside. Recipe for disaster. Now "Bob' has assured me that their new installer "Steve" will come look at it for evaluation. Steve has lost his phone several times and cant keep up with his current customers and their needs ,how's he gonna keep up with the previous customers?This has been going on for 4 months now. No resolve .Take your money and don't look back they are. Please folks, look local and don't go out of state, its too easy to hid if they are not in your back yard. I fought nearly 30 years in Army is this is what I had to look forward to.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't know who they are talking about the first time they finally came out to pour cement they poured it because they said the pad was great I think they are trying to cover themselves because nothing has to be done with the pad and it was ready and had been done long enough that it had been packed really goodIf it had rained as much as they say we would have had to build an ark by now

THE INSTALLER CALLED THE CUSTOMER AT 4AM ON 8/25/AND TOLD HIM THAT HE WASNT GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE ITTHE OFFICE TALKED TO THE CUSTOMER ON 8/30/AND THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT HE DIDNT WANT THE ORIGINAL INSTALLER BACK ON HIS PROPERTY SO WE EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT WE WOULD HAVE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ANOTHER INSTALLER AND WORK ON GETTING THEM SCHEDULED TO COME OUT TO REPAIR THE BUILDING AND THAT COULD TAKE A FEW DAYSTHE CUSTOMER STATED THAT HE WAS FINE WITH THAT AS LONG AS IT WASNT THE ORIGINL INSTALLER

We will have someone up to the customers home within the next two weeks weather permitting to have a drain with grate installed in the concrete between the extra pad and the buildingThis should take care of any water trying to come into the building

We are in the process of working with the customer to get to issue resolved for himWe have contacted the customer on several different occasions with different options on ways to fix his issues and he has turned down every option we have came up withWe are still working on things we can do
