I've had an account with TBFCU since For the longest time I would sing the praises of this bank to everyone who would listen but over the past few years their service and concern for the customers has absolutely tankedLast night, for the FIRST TIME EVER I lost my debit cardI knew immediately when in happened and called to cancel it right awayYou cancel it through a 3rd party vendorThey cannot request a new card for youSo I called TBFCU directly followed the prompts and was put in a queue "waiting for a representative"Turns out they don't have a hour staffed line! I also can't request a new card through an automated phone thing or onlineFirst this this morning (Saturday) I called to request a replacement and was told there is a charge for it ($10) and it takes 7-business daysIf I math this correctly that means I won't receive my replacement card until sometime between November 9th and 14thIf this was a true credit card they would have another one in my hands before I even knew it was missingTBFCU, I get that you are making money by earning interest off of my money but this is utter ***If I didn't have my home loan through TBFCU and I hadn't been with them so long (and it wasn't such a pain in the *** to switch) I would have moved onThank you so much for taking an already embarrassing, frustrating, infuriating situation and making it so much worse
If you are looking for a recommendation for a new bank I would suggest any of the big banksSure they also have *** service and don't give a rat's *** about your banking needs but at least they don't pretend that they do
