We purchased this travel deal a few days agoWe are reconsidering getting out of the contract within the days (postmarked by days from purchase) due to a number of vast indiscretions that get covered up by the sales forceSo far we have found: 1) the $yearly fee 'that is only charged if you use the business' within that year is a LIEIf you want to even shop around for a travel deal you are charged the $even if you do not bookThis was NOT presented to us by our sales person (I really doubt she knew and is indoctrinated into giving misinformation)but also this info was told to us by an upper level administration person but then contridicted by the 'billing department' 2) upon reading the contract with a lawyer he found a statement saying that we are responsible for ALL TAXES ETC for the value of the free staysWhich means even if we pay $for 3-day stay we could be charged taxes for the 'value' of the roomThis means we could pay taxes of $a day for 'our deal' 3) They said in the presentation that they are Revdex.com accredited and they are NOT as evidenced in the statement on the top of this page 4) Even though they do a public price in their presentation when you get on the site yourself the prices are represented differentlyWe are finding same dates prices that do not show a savings at all
I called Take a Break Travel on 6-12-2019.I was assisted by Joe Williams I was impressed by his customer service and him going above and beyond to explain the pros & cons of my reservation changes that I was trying to do and I really appreciate that he took the time to explain it and the patience he had because I kept asking the same question & so politely he explained it to I got. Thanks Joe Williams for such a great customer service.
We purchased this travel deal a few days ago. We are reconsidering getting out of the contract within the 10 days (postmarked by 10 days from purchase) due to a number of vast indiscretions that get covered up by the sales force. So far we have found:
1) the $189 yearly fee 'that is only charged if you use the business' within that year is a LIE. If you want to even shop around for a travel deal you are charged the $189 even if you do not book. This was NOT presented to us by our sales person (I really doubt she knew and is indoctrinated into giving misinformation)... but also this info was told to us by an upper level administration person but then contridicted by the 'billing department'.
2) upon reading the contract with a lawyer he found a statement saying that we are responsible for ALL TAXES ETC for the value of the free stays. Which means even if we pay $400 for 3-8 day stay we could be charged taxes for the 'value' of the room. This means we could pay taxes of $100 a day for 'our deal'.
3) They said in the presentation that they are Revdex.com accredited and they are NOT as evidenced in the statement on the top of this page.
4) Even though they do a public price in their presentation when you get on the site yourself the prices are represented differently. We are finding same dates prices that do not show a savings at all.
