Tai Lake Restaurant

Review: My young adult ministry group from church goes to Tai Lake annually to break our fast after Good Friday service. This year, we called more than a week in advance to make reservations because we are a large group - about 50 people. Additionally, we were going very late - after church service - around 10:30 p.m. During this call, my church member agreed to a Prix Fixe menu for us which included 9 courses for $15 a person, with 10 people seated at each table. After waiting 45 minutes for the food to arrive, in the wrong order, and then they messed up our order, we received a bill for almost TWICE the agreed upon price. We agreed upon approximately $900 (without tax and tip) and the bill came to $1500! We called the owner, who was extremely rude, threatened to call the police, and told us that our business was not wanted and to never return. He also mentioned that he didn't like large groups, which is odd, because we chose Tai Lake because they could accommodate large groups in their upstairs banquet area. He even had the audacity to tell my friend that he has been there 20 years and did not remember our group being there last year!Desired Settlement: We deserve an official apology, and the difference of $600 that we paid just in order to leave peaceably. But we will never return.
