FedEx. I am satisfied with the outcome and relieved that I was able to receive the physical memorials to my father. I am happy to still forward you documentation if you need it to complete your case, but at this point, I am not seeking further action on my behalf.Thank you, [redacted]
Review: On 11/7/14, my father passed away in Reno, NV. On 11/16/14, I began working with [redacted] at the Tahoe Daily Tribune (part of Sierra Nevada Media Group) to run an obituary on 11/20/14. I also asked to purchase personal copies for myself and other family members that live out of state. I was told that as part of the package, they would ship four physical copies of the paper directly to me. My credit card was charged $176 for the one-day run, including the 4 copies and shipping to be sent to me. As far as I know, the obit ran but I never received physical copies of the paper so that I could keep this memorial to my father or share with family on the east coast. I followed up immediately and frequently expressing concern over availability. I followed up via phone and email numerous times (I have copies) with Ms. [redacted] and was told that the copies were sent, then sent a 2nd time, then they discovered they had made an error and would ship again, then they were contacting the main office to get copies and finally on 1/6/15 I was told they no longer have copies and I should settle for an electronic copy. If I had wanted a copy of the words from a printer I would have done that at home for free. I responded that this was absolutely unacceptable and requested the matter be escalated with an immediate response. I have received no further response to date. I am incredibly frustrated after having repeatedly sharing my concern that their errors would result in no longer being able to access the paper. I do not have the emotional strength to deal with this type of issue on top of losing my father. I was assured repeatedly that this would not happen. Please help me to resolve. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like them to find four copies of the 11/20/14 edition and ship those to me immediately via FedEx Priority mail with tracking. I would also like a refund of my $176 for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused me.
