Taca International Airlines, S.A.

Review: My wife purchase a ticket through [redacted] to travel on Jan *,2014 first through [redacted] to [redacted] then on Taca to [redacted]. The [redacted] flight was cancelled due to snow so she was told to avoid a Taca change fee she should accept a ticket to travel on [redacted] from **. She did and was stranded in ** missing her Father's funeral. I called Taca soon after and they said no problm I had a year to use nthe ticket. I compalined through [redacted] as you can never seem to get TACA on the phone. Taca told [redacted] they would issue a refund. I followed up on it now Taca told [redacted] they declined her refund and were only willing to give her a return trip by 12/**/14. In essence she missed her father's funeral paid over $800 got a run around for over a year and never was able to travel.Desired Settlement: Want a round trip ticket from [redacted] area to [redacted] in [redacted].
