I purchased a glass swinging shower door with stationary panel from T and L Glass on July 7, 2015. While installing the shower door my carpenter and I found the directions confusing. I contacted T and L Glass, a message was taken, and I waited for a reply. I ended up call to get further clarification on installation. The glass panels still did not assemble per the instructions. I called several times for instruction clarification.
Finally I looked up the instructions on the internet, which referred me to a local dealer. I took the parts we could not install to this dealer to find I had not received all the parts to assemble the door nor the correct instructions. So I went to T and L Glass with this information. They did not have the parts on hand and the owner was to call me, which he never did. I finally called and was told to go on line to get the correct instructions. Nothing was done about the missing parts.
As a result on September 9, 201592 months after purchasing), I contacted the manufacture recommended dealer, who installed the door for an installation fee of $200. Lastly, the installer said I had parts that were not needed, parts I needed but did not receive, and the wrong installation instructions. Which explains why I (who has 3 college degrees) and my carpenter (who is retired and has worked in the business for over 30 years) could not install the door.
