Synergy Dance Project

Review: Synergy Dance Project owes me a $75 refund because I accidentally paid for the summer 2013 6 week summer session twice. I sent a check with the registration sheet in June and my husband paid with his debit card on the first day of class, July 9th.On July 10th I informed [redacted], with Synergy Dance Project, via email of what had happened. On July 11th she informed me [redacted], the owner, would refund my card. The refund never showed up. I continued to email [redacted] and was told she would check with [redacted]. Then [redacted] was on vacation until August 11th. I waited until the 12th which is a month after I informed them of this mistake and contacted [redacted] again. I heard back on the 19th and she asked me if it was all worked out. I told her it was not and never her back from her. I then called the studio and talked to [redacted]. She said her husband would write me a check and send it to me. Her husband does the bookkeeping. On September 4th I talked to [redacted] again. Her husband was out of town, but she swore he sent me a check. She said she would call me Monday September 9th to make sure I got the check. I did not received the check or the phone call. I called her on Tuesday. I left a message and did not receive a call back. Wednesday September 11th I called the studio and [redacted] answered. She seemed to be unhappy to hear from me and just told me "I will look into it." Considering a business such as hers relies on word of mouth I would have thought this would have been dealt with quickly. I have been very patient and would like immediate resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for $75 sent to my house immediately.
