Ms*** called to reserve a room for her daughter and daughter's boyfriend with her daughter's boyfriend *** present on the call Ms*** asked for the Chalet Pool Suite and was told by the getaway planner that the Chalet suites were already reserved at every location She
was offered a Deluxe Whirlpool Suite or a Swim Spa suite at the Northbrook location instead, which the getaway planner explained are both whirlpool pool suites and not full sized pool suites Ms *** asked if there was anything else available at any other location She was told there was possibly a Paradise Pool Suite at the Mequon location Her daughter's boyfriend *** told the getaway planner that the website was showing a Majestic Pool Suite available at the Frankfort location The getaway planner explained that as far as she could see through the reservation system that someone was in he process of reserving the Majestic Suite at the Frankfort location as they spoke The callers were disappointed, so the getaway planner offered to check into the reservation in progress to make sure that it would actually go through and become confirmed with payment She followed through and was able to put a hold on the Majestic Pool Suite for Ms***'s daughter *** Ms*** paid $for the reservation because the rate was at premium rate for Valentine's Day She knew the rate in advance and signed paperwork to agree to that rate She asked for the Majestic Pool Suite specifically as well as her daughter's boyfriend She was promptly emailed a confirmation for the Majestic Pool Suite at the rate of $$for room +$membership total When I spoke to Ms *** I asked if she received the email confirmation She said she had and that she printed it out and folded it up and put it in an envelope to present to her daughter *** Ms *** claims her daughter and her boyfriend were disappointedHer daughter's boyfriend *** asked for a Majestic Pool, they were given a confirmation for a Majestic Pool and checked in to a Majestic Pool They did not complain or make mention of any mistakes at check in or check out Three days later Ms *** called the Northbrook office crying inconsolably claiming that they were offered a Chalet and that she paid for a Chalet and didn't receive itI apologized profusely and offered to get to the bottom of the problem When I checked into the problem with the quality assurance department the recordings show the conversation as I have previously explainedNo error was made on our part and I apologized to Ms *** for the confusion She became instantly irate and demanding retribution She threatened that if she didn't get it that we didn't know who we were messing withShe said " I am also going to bash you on every social network page I can possible find, I am a digital strategist! I apologized again and she said "Your response should be we will give you compensation!" We pride ourselves on delivering a perfect experience to all of our customers In this case we did not find that Ms *** was overcharged or given a room that she did not request Ms *** demanded to hear the recorded calls so I complied with her demand When she heard herself and *** asking for the Majestic and asking to be placed on standby for the Majestic she started crying and screaming on the phone at me that we are all liars and that we are changing the context of her words I said I am sorry but you asked for the Majestic, paid for and received it Unfortunately there is nothing more I can offer you, this complaint is closedShe screamed "You are aes" and hung up on me She was so upset that I felt bad for her and attempted to immediately call her back She picked up the phone and hung it up on me She has since gone on social media pages and made false, slanderous accusations and has attacked me personally We value our guests and go above and beyond to make sure that our guests are happy when we make miss the mark In this case we did everything we were supposed to do Sybaris does not make it a practice to submit to extortion tactics that *** *** is using such as this Please feel free to contact me for more information
