In response to your letter dated Feb 26th, 2017 regarding reference ID: [redacted], we wish to inform you that we promptly dealt with the customer's request for return of goods in accordance to our return policy as stated on our website.The customer wrote to us requesting a return of goods at which...
time we were having technical issues with our hosting provider, which we apologised for the delayed response and immediately addressed her issue, We queried the customer for a reason for return of the goods. The customer did not immediately respond to our enquiry and in the interim had sent subsequent emails requesting a return. We suspect the customer did not see our email or perhaps it had gone into her junk mail, however the customer finally got back to us stating why she wanted to return. Her reason for return was not compliant with our return policy as clearly stated on our website, however we still offered the customer a partial refund for the order she placed that was within the 30-day return policy as a good will offer.The customer also wanted to return an order that placed in late November 2016 and delivered within the 10-15 business days as per our free shipping terms. We clearly explained to the customer that she would not receive a refund for this item, but we would exchange for an online store credit that was good for 12 months. The store credit voucher was issued promptly and is currently valid.See Email correspondence below:Sent 11 Feb 2017HiFirstly, we apologize for the delayed communication. Upon receipt of your return goods unopened and in its original packaging, we will apply a refund to your account for those items which are inside the 30 day guarantee period. Any item ordered outside the guarantee period will be exchanged for an online store coupon to the value of the purchase price.We would advise that you send that item with a request for signature at our end to ensure your package has been received by a Swift Good employee.Instructions: 1.
