Review: Michael Dolceacqua, owner of Sweetwater Fence Co in Milford CT, requested and received a deposit of $2000 on September 10, 2013, to build a fence. He then called and said he had another job and could not meet his earlier commitment. Five months later we still have not received our deposit back. Our next-door neighbor had the same difficulty. I see online that he has a history of doing this with some regularity. It's larceny. I have reported him to the Milford Police Department and will also follow through on three other avenues to have our money returned, as well as the cost incurred by me to hire an attorney.Desired Settlement: Our association has set up SEVEN different deadlines with Michael Dolceacqua to return the money, to which he agreed. He has ignored every single one. He has been convicted in the past of previous violations. He received probation.

Review: Michael Dolceacqua of Sweetwater Fence was given $3,000.00 deposit for fencing services at our residence on October 1, 2013 which he promptly cashed. No work has been done. The money is gone. He has paid back $2,000. There remains still a $1,000.00 balance in refund, which it appears he has no intention of paying. This is not acceptable and is essentially akin to being robbed.Desired Settlement: Sweetwater Fence Co. is to refund the remaining $1,000.00 owed to homeowner for services HE NEVER DID.
