The person complaining had NOT simply provided a physical mailing address, which was a security requirement in the market research industryIf he had simply provided the address when asked, last August and in subsequent emails, his daughter would have received the $as promisedSince he refused
to reply, nothing could be doneHe has finally provided an address, six months after the request was made, and payment has been sent. Here is the email response I sent to the person complaining: Your daughter was recruited by an online provider, which I hired in good faith to find people around the country to participate in my research projectI encountered nothing but problems with them and had to switch to another online providerI asked the new research provider to fulfill all the incentives that the first company had promised to participants, including your daughterThe new researcher provider (*** ***) had to ensure that everyone who had been recruited by the first company was, in fact, a real person living in the United States, to ensure that they received paymentThey contacted *** at the email you provided and explained, in subsequent emails, that you must provide a physical address or they would not be able to send the paymentYou, or ***, simply failed to respond to those emails. In our previous communication you said you had checked your spam filters and that no such emails from *** *** could be foundHowever, this is the only email we have on file - and it is clearly yours, not your daughter'sIn fact, *** *** had problems with ONLY participants who refused to reply with a physical address, your daughter being one of them, and since you insisted you hadn't received such emails we could only assume that there was a security issue of some kindUntil you sent your physical address for the incentive to be mailed, there was simply nothing to be done on our end. I just learned this morning that you registered me with the Revdex.com and have filed a complaintThis is surprising, given that I have gone above measures to assure your daughter's personal information was not compromisedI hope this situation has been remedied to your satisfactionThe kind folks at *** *** have assured me that your daughter should have her $this week
