Excellent services provided by Sweet Home Services. They were quick to respond with my estimate and completed painting the exterior of my house in 2 days time. They were extremely polite and professional and would highly recommend them.

Did a great job and even came back out to touch up stuff I missed at no charge. And gave me some good painting tips.

Found them on Home Advisor and they were prompt in coming to make an estimate. I found their estimate to be very competitive and they were able to start in short order. They arrived on time, did the work with amazing results, left the place cleaner than they found it, and you literally can not figure out where they started and stop - - their work was so good, it blends into existing walls in a way you simply can't see where it starts / stops. They were prompt, professional, polite, and did some of the very best work I've ever seen. I most definitely look forward to asking Alex to come help us with out next projects. I should also mention, they offered a great value for the price without question.

Found this on HomeAdvisor and did the first project working on the popcorn ceiling on my house and it well. After that, I started my second project with this company and we had a detailed estimate of everything we agreed upon what work needs to be done. Alex requested to start the project he needed half money up front as deposit to start the project. During early stages of the project I noticed the wallpaper in my bathroom was not being removed even though I told him to do it and it was detailed in the estimate, they went on to try to cover it up so it doesn't take him time to remove it. I was unhappy with the quality of the work and dishonesty so I stopped all work and requested my deposit back minus whatever he has done on the bathroom (which is fair) but he refused and said I either pay him in full before finishing the project or he wouldnt do anything and wouldnt give me my money back. Long story short, went through mediator and they ruled in my favor that he still owed me money. He withheld my money for 7 months Took him 5 months to pay me back after the mediator ruling which he only had 15 days to pay at that point. Absolutely horrible and complete nightmare. This is my first home and he knew it and felt like I was taken advantage of for sure. Please don't be another victim of his!

Alex (Sweet Homes) has done three Sheetrock and tape -bed jobs for me over the past year or so.. Two at my house and one at a rent house.. The complaint below looks like BS to me as my dealings with them have been the exact opposite. The work they did for me was flawless and my impression of Alex is that he is a very honest businessman. The price in the contract was exactly what I was charged.

We hired Sweet Home to handle a kitchen remodel as well as significant work in 5 other rooms in our house. The work performed was of excellent quality and completed on time. Sweet Home removed wall paper, popcorn ceilings, internal windows and door frames, finished and plastered where there were damages or where we made changes, and painted all walls and trim. In the kitchen, laundry and powder room, they also sanded and painted all cabinets and drawers and installed new hardware. In the kitchen, they also installed a glass tile back-splash which is just gorgeous. Everything looks great! Friends can't believe the difference. Did we need to have extra work done that was not in the contract? Yes - we changed our minds about some things and found additional things we wanted (like change all the electrical lights and plugs). A quote for the changes and a contract amendment were always created. There were no shocks or surprises The new work was the same excellent quality as the original.
But it the additional things Sweet Home and Alex did that really gained them the 5 stars in this review. We a different contractor totally botched the quartz counter top installation, Alex was a life-saver. He found ways to hide/repair all the destruction created by the other company (who I would not allow back in my house!) We're talking 1.5" of cabinet sawn off and gone, ugly and inappropriate caulking, gaps where the stone didn't fit, unsightly repairs to supports, significant damage to cabinets. Sweet Home's repairs actually look better than it would have had the stone been installed properly!
The Sweet Home crew who worked in my home were polite, friendly, skilled, and a pleasure to have around. Since it took about 3 weeks to complete it all, that's a very good thing! The dogs like them, even! They assured everything was protected as they worked and cleaned up each day before leaving. The final day, Alex and his wife saw that the house was dusted, swept, mopped, and all furniture returned to where it should be.
Yes, I will use Sweet Home again. We've already recommended them to friends and neighbors thinking of having work done.

We recently had the exterior of our home painted, including painted trim, decorative Tudor woodwork mounted on the house, stained garage doors, covered patio and doors and re-staining and varnishing the front door, *** gave us a very reasonable quote and was able to start the job very quickly. The crew arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and did an amazing job! Thank you Sweet Home Services!

I am now convinced that it would be difficult indeed to find a more honest, trustworthy, and professional contractor for home painting and remodeling services. Over the last couple of years, I have hired Sweet Home Services to complete three jobs. On each occasion, Alex and his crew arrived on time and did an excellent job cleaning up each day. In regards to the quality of work, the attention to detail and end results exceeded my expectations and left me impressed every time. Most recently, Sweet Home Services removed the popcorn ceiling throughout my entire house and replaced it with a beautiful orange peel texture. What would have been an extremely messy and highly time consuming job for me to do and would not have looked anywhere near as good, they were able to effectively complete in a matter of days and at a fair and reasonable price. I must also mention that I have been repeatedly impressed with the supervisor Alex and his genuine interest in making sure I am content with the quality of work. In addition, he is always effective at keeping me well informed of the team’s progress each day. I feel confident in recommending this contractor and will most assuredly use them in the future. I had a bunch of cracks in my house due to foundation issues I called them up they came out and did an unbelievable job cleanup work was done spectacular I don’t recommend anyone but this company I highly do they did a A +++ work for a very fair and honest price. I’m going to continue using them in the future

Alex and his team of workers were great. The job was well bid and work started quickly. The work was done exactly as I had requested and I was kept in the loop as the job progressed over 3.5 days. The guys cleaned up the area at the end of each day and even helped me store some left over materials I had purchased which will go towards another project. The end results were spectacular and I am extremely happy with the work these guys did. Many thanks to Alex, David, Julian and Javier!

I will definitely keep Sweet Home Services on my list of contractors as we plan on a major remodel and addition in the near future. I would recommend Alex and his team to my family, friends and neighbors if ever asked.

I do not have much experience working with contractors. So when my elderly parents bought a home near me as their health declined I did all I could to research and interview a few contractors to get bids. The scope of the project was to widen some doorways in the home to make them handicap accessible. I'm not sure how many details are appropriate to share here, but I will be glad to provide information as requested.
At this point, Alex *** with Sweet Home Services was paid $8,040 on a job with a signed contract for $6,040. The scope of the project never changed. The additional amount was paid under duress.
This contractor has been threatening and harassing us for one month to pay an additional $3,895; going so far as to drive 4 hours to Harris county to try and confront my parents for more money.
The quality of the work was subpar. His crew did substantial damage to the existing flooring despite many requests to cover the floor.
I am posting this in an effort to protect someone like me who thought I did the research by looking at Revdex.com, Yelp, Angie's List and Home Advisor.
Buyer Beware.
