Dear ***, This is in response to the complaint you received about from *** *** in regards to Sweet Fire Donna's(ld # ***).*** *** and her three guests did visit our business on October 09, This was her third dining experience at Sweet Fire Donna'sWe are a seat fast
Casual restaurantYou order at the counter and you can take your food or sit in the restaurant if seating is availableThere is not a host or wait staff, it is fast casual so you choose your own seatingMost Customers that are dining in choose their seats and come up to the counter to order their food*** *** ordered her food at the Counter and sat with her guests at Our Community tableShe then asked our cashier whether there was any other place to sitShe was informed that there were no other tables available except for our out door seatingThe weather was chilly and the patio seating was full except for One table that would accommodate her party, She did not want to sit at this tableA few minutes into their meal table opened up that accommodated guests and they sat at that tableThey continued to eat their meal and asked for boxes to bring their leftovers home with themThe next day I received the following email from *** ***:An email has come through the Sweet Fire Donna's website:Name: *** ***
Email: ***@***.ComComments: I had been to Sweet Fire Donna's a couple times, and decided to bring my mom and grandmother on Sunday nightAfter ordering there was no where to sit- I think a big family came inIt was just really disappointing that the restaurant is set up the way it isBasically in the back there were two families (separate groups) taking up all of that space because the way the tables were pushed togetherThen the bar area was all people sitting and watching the gameThat left notables for just people to sit-well except for this big wood table in the middle and bar people were sitting on the end of thatSo we ended up sitting on at a table shared with bar people and the table was only about as wide as my laptopIt was raining outside or we would have been thereI asked the person at the front and he was like there's nothing can doI feel like he should have done somethingI mean when you're paying $a plate is a table too much to ask? I wish you had seen how uncomfortable my grandmother looked felt terrible about the whole night when prefaced coming to Sweet Fire's with how good it's been.The following is my response email to *** ***:Hi ***,received your email about your visit to Sweet Fire Donna's on Sunday eveningMy apologies that the seating did not work Out for youWe wish we had more space but unfortunately we have to Work With what We haveWhen the Weather is bad and We lose Our outdoor seating and it leaves us with even a smaller spaceAll of our tables are bolted down so they cannot be pushed togetherThe large table in the middle is our community table that is a shared table for multiple guestsIt was set up that way for the Community to get to know each otherThe gentleman Working the front should have brought this to the manager's attentionI am not sure if anything could have been done although I know she would have tried to accommodate you.Thanks for bringing this to our attention.Donna A*** Sweet Fire Donna's *** *** *** ** Alexandria, Va ***

I was not satisfied with this service/ meal 10/8/on several levelsI informed the restaurant at the time of service, no options were provided to meThe conditions of the seating arrangements were so uncomfortable that they caused a member of my party painI contacted the owner after the date of service and she refused to even call me regarding the matter, stating that I yelled at her employee- which never happened

I am rejecting this response because: Donna has been untruthful of her representation of this visit and the service provided. She has outright publicly lied in her statement that I called and yelled at a staff member, and that the staff member then cried. My statement stands. I wasn't given good service, I let the restaurant kmow there was a problem, they provided no solution and then when I asked for a call regarding the matter Donna refused.
