This is by far the best automotive repair shop I have ever been to. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail and my actual cost was under the estimate I was given. I appreciate Steve and all of his help

Review: I took my Volvo to Swedish auto to correct the valve timing and remove a check engine light. After several days and $400 plus dollars my Volvo was returned with the check engine light still on. I was told that additional mechanical and/or electrical repair would be necessary to remove the check engine light. I drove the car for some time off and on contacting Swedish auto for advise on how to proceed with the repair. Finally [redacted] at Swedish auto advised me to purchase a VVT solenoid at a price of $130. I had this part installed and it did not remove the check engine light. I went to several mechanic shops looking for a solution. I was sent to European Master Tech on Bell rd their 25 year master Volvo tech diagnosed my Volvo as being out of timing " which is the original issue " that I took the car to Swedish auto. The charge at Master Tech was $80. I returned the car to Swedish with this new information and was told it would be four days before they could work on my car. I took it in and left it for repair, my car was returned two days later, the repair was made. [redacted] at Swedish auto did not want to admit that my car was not repaired properly at the initial visit. He does not feel responsible for the $130 part that he advised me to purchase and made no offer to reimburse the $80 to diagnose the real problem with my Volvo.Desired Settlement: I would like Swedish auto to reimburse the $80 diagnostic cost from European Master Tech and buy from me the $130 VVT solenoid purchased at the Volvo dealership on Bell rd.

Review: I took my vehicle a [redacted] to have the Air Conditioning repaired. I was advised it was a pressure switch and in returned had the parts replaced at a total cost of $351.00 The repairs failed the very next day. When I took it to another certified Saab repair the valves they replaced had leaked a majority of the Freon out. I had the valves replaced at this new location in 10 minutes for a cost of $100 which included having the Freon refilled. After research this was not the cause of my issue and the proper computer equipment was used and isolated a different part. The control unit for the A/C.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund as I will return the valves that leaked after replacement. I was taken advantage of due to the very limited availability of [redacted] repair shops available.
