Review: On 9/23/2011 I was charged $43.00 to dry clean a dress. There was no price given when t dropped it off, so I was shocked. I complained to the attendant, who said she was the manager. At the same time I had a two piece suit cleaned for less than $15.00, the dress cost three times as much. I feel like I got ripped off.Desired Settlement: Refund.

Review: I visited this dry cleaner for the first time and brought them a lightly used shirt (fewer than ten total uses, and three prior cleanings). The shirt was returned with discoloration and staining similar to bleach on each of front shoulder areas. The cleaner provided remarkably poor customer service and insisted that this staining was due to excessive deodorant use by the customer, and that they were not liable for replacement costs. No changes in deodorant were used between previous cleanings and this current cleaning, and an under-shirt was always worn. The vendor claimed that this type of reaction occurs from time to time following this event, but made no such mention of its possibility when the shirt was dropped-off. The shirt did not have any visible staining or discoloration prior to being serviced by Swanson's. Desired Settlement: The shirt needs to be replaced by Swanson's Cleaners due to lack of acknowledgement of the risks associated with their services prior to cleaning, as well as an inability to prove the source of the staining.
