Review: I was in a car accident in aug of last year my lawyer asked all 4 docclose the case but they are holding up the prosesstors for my medical records all have been sent except for swanson mcarthur..on march 4 2016 I called swanson mcarthur and was told by [redacted] that these things take time ok. Well I called again on april 1 2016 and was told again by [redacted] that theses things take time I told her we are in the 21st century nothing takes that long well today may 5 2016 still [redacted] said mam I told her don't give me no excuses it's been 3 months the lawyer has paid for the records and still nothing from swanson my lawyer is ready to close my case but they are holding up the process and my life I have lost two of my clients that I work for so I need to pay billsDesired Settlement: I would like for swanson mcarthur to send my medical re asapcords a bills to my lawyer asap no more excuses

This issue was resolved on the day Ms. [redacted] made the complaint to your offices. I spoke with Ms. [redacted] personally on the same day she filed the complaint (May 5, 2016) and advised her that the matter had been resolved. We are unable to release records to a 3rd party without the written permission of the patient. We received the written request to release her records (required by law) from her attorney's office on April 20, 2016.The records were provided to the attorney's office on June 5, 2016. As a facility that handles protected health information, we need to operate within HIPAA guidelines and feel we have done so. We apologize to Ms. [redacted] for any inconvenience she may have experienced in this matter. We sincerely hope that the issue has been resolved to her satisfaction. In addition, we request, for the protection of Ms. [redacted]'s privacy, that you do not post this issue on your website. Any information regarding her care at any medical facility should not be made public. Thank you.

All though she lied about the date the records was ordered I'm ok with it
