We received the written request to release her records (required by law) from her attorney's office on April 20, 2016.The records were provided to the attorney's office on June 5, 2016. As a facility that handles protected health information, we need to operate within HIPAA guidelines and feel we have done so. We apologize to Ms. [redacted] for any inconvenience she may have experienced in this matter. We sincerely hope that the issue has been resolved to her satisfaction. In addition, we request, for the protection of Ms. [redacted]'s privacy, that you do not post this issue on your website. Any information regarding her care at any medical facility should not be made public. Thank you.
