The craftsmanship and finished product of our kitchen remodeling is fantasticIt took longer than expected so factor in a few extra weeks when planning

I contracted with S&W Kitchens to do a total remodel of my kitchenThe construction began late October and was completed mid December a total of working daysI could not be more pleased with the resultsThis company rolled like a well oiled machineMy designer, project manager and ALL the workmen were professional, polite, and very knowledgeable about the job they were doing for meI can honestly say that it was a totally STRESS-FREE remodel I would highly recommend this company to everyone

The whole S & W team worked well together to finish the project on time, and they continued to be available when a few details needed to be redone after the project was completed We felt very comfortable with all of their workers and employees We highly recommend S & W Kitchens for quality service and distinctive designs

S & W Kitchens did a complete kitchen remodeling project for us and the result is spectacular! Greg F* was the designer on the projectHe was easy to work with and followed the job to completionAt the same time, S & W removed most of the flooring in the house and put wood floors downI was happy to find a company that was able to do the whole project and coordinate all the trades to get the job doneThe project supervisor, Tim H***, was totally accessible throughout the whole project and he completed the job earlier than projectedI would certainly recommend S & W Kitchens!

I'll be as quick and to the point as possible. Asked for a representative to view a bathroom for a simple relocation of a tub (existing) in place of the shower stall. He came, tried his best to make it an entire remodel and disappeared for several weeks! After multiple attempts to get a response he finally answered his phone and fumbled till he was able to pull up my information on his computer and proceeded to repeat to me the same thing we had already discussed when he was at the house with no new thoughts or ideas (unlike what he had me waiting for) and the one new bit of information he had for me was that it would cost between six and nine thousand dollars. I asked if this is how S&W Kitchens does business (ignore the customer, no proposal or scope of work and a three thousand dollar gap estimate)? He replied he could email me some paperwork. It's now several days later and I still have nothing!

We were very excited to remodel our Master Bathroom. It started out as just adding a jetted tub to the space and grew into our "Dream Bathroom" by completely redoing the walk-in shower, Vanity top, sinks, toilet and water closet, along with reconfiguring walls. We didn't know that our "Dream" would turn into a "Nightmare". Early-on in our planning, we found a supplier/installer for the quartz that we wanted to line the walls, tub deck and Vanity top; and needed a local Bathroom contractor for the remainder of the project. After contacting a few local Kitchen and Bath professionals, we decided to contract with S&W Kitchens, even though their estimate was $4000 higher than any of the others. We made this decision due to our comfort with the Designer and Estimator/Project Coordinator that we dealt with during the detailed planning process, S&W Kitchens' reputation, advertizing and the promise of a structured process with "the Highest Possible Level of Customer Service & Communication".

We were assigned a Construction Superintendent, who initially met with us and our Designer to go over the job, all details of the contract and develop a schedule. Our job was estimated to be 5 to 7 weeks from start to completion, which based on our prior knowledge of construction practices, we thought was a little excessive, but we accepted it.

Initially the job started out as promised, with daily morning planning calls from the Superintendent, which we had requested. There were minor day-to-day issues which popped up and were dealt with. We understand that this is normal for construction. However, we began to notice a pattern, starting with the quality of sub-contractors on the job. Next the communication started to drop off. It became a real problem after we made the substantial post demo payment. The Construction Superintendent had all sorts of excuses as to why he didn't call us with a daily update, as we had requested. Often, he didn't even return our voicemail requests for a call-back. He didn't seem to understand many of The Contract details or be able to manage the project properly. The Superintendent consistently tried to put the blame on our Designer or others in the Company for his inability to control the job. As our main contact on the job, we were told that it was his responsibility to understand our project and Contract completely in order to execute the job. The "final straw" came when the sub-contractor to install the shower floor showed up and was NOT the original person that came out to pre-plan the installation. They had NO knowledge of the product that we had specified. Our Designer and Estimator/Project Coordinator had researched the product thoroughly and knew that it was "different" from regular epoxy. The sub-contractor refused to follow the very specific instructions that came with the product, stating that "they knew epoxy floors". We tried to contact the Construction Superintendent (who was not on the job site when ANY of the sub-contractors were performing), because the shower floor sub-contractor started to apply the product improperly, but we only got the Superintendent's voicemail. So, we panicked and called our Designer to report we had a major issue on-site! Later we were chastised by the Superintendent, because he said we should only go thru him (S&W Kitchens' literature states "our project managers, construction team members and designers are always available for any questions you may have"). When the Superintendent finally did show up on the job, he didn't stop the shower floor sub-contractor, and he gave us his "personal guarantee" and that of S&W that they "knew what they were doing and we would LOVE the finished product". That wasn't the case. It turned out totally unacceptable with sharp edges, uneven coverage and no slope in some areas. At that point, we knew that there was no way that the Superintendent was credible any longer and our relationship with him had deteriorated to the point that we could no longer rely on him to complete the project. He had taken some shortcuts throughout the project, was NEVER on-site for the mandatory County Inspections (we had to walk the inspector through every detail) and had NOT adhered to the Contract requirements. We contacted our Legal Representative and sought her advice regarding our possible courses of action. We had to request a new Construction Superintendent and threatened legal action. As a direct result, The Director of Field Operations took over our job. A Certified Installer for the shower floor product was retained to chip-out and re-do it. This time it turned out perfectly. We went over ALL the missed details, issues, and Contract concerns with the Field Operations Director. He was very professional, addressed these items, and we were finally able to get the job completed.

It's a shame that we didn't have someone like the Field Operations Director to work with our wonderful Designer and Project Coordinator, (who were both very knowledgeable and professional) from the beginning. We might have been spared the painful experiences and anguish. The Total Project Time was 12 1/2 weeks and only then due to getting our legal representative's support and advice, not the original 5 to 7 weeks estimated. We can only hope that if there are any Warranty Issues in the future that S&W Kitchens will stand by their Warranty. Unlike their advertising, we were NOT "100% happy" with the overall process and "The S&W Difference" was NOT "Simply Wonderful!"

My husband and I worked with S&W in Palm Harbor, FL on a full kitchen remodel and had a fantastic experience. Our designer (Shirley A[redacted]) and supervisor (Anthony H[redacted]) were always available for help and guidance along the way. Everyone showed up on time, had a great attitude, and did quality work for us. We absolutely LOVE the result and would definitely work with them again.
