the temporary pole. It is regulation, that the owner has to contact the power company due to power being in owners name. Construction began two weeks later when power company was finally called by home owner. It was then discovered that half of the customer's home and the new addition were on the power company's right of way. This caused a stop in work until the power company could find an alternative right of way. During this problem we had to use a neighbors electricity, which I paid $100 per month for to finish the add on. There was a lot of owner work to be done on interior (paint, trim, flooring, etc). We had agreed verbally on a change order to be done on hourly pay out. We achieved $3,500.00 in extras done by the hour on labor, which were never paid for, including lots of extra work that was not on the contract. There were no ridge vents included on the bid. There were 11 squares of shingles bid, but due to roof leaks we installed over 21 squares and never were paid for the additional 10 squares that were installed. We installed a microwave vent hood, stove, interior doors, owner supplied door over interior A/C unit and attic staircase that were not on the bid as well. S&W Construction was never paid for any of these materials or labor, therefore we did no other extras on this job. We would like to be paid for all above listed extras, since we did have a verbal agreement to do the extra work on a time and material basis.
