I have review** the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determin** that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I review** appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I disagree because this response is against what I was told during this entire process and doesn't include any facts to the matter. I chose to do the application on the property because as outlin** in the emails from [redacted], the house would be available Sept 1, 2017. [redacted] approv** my application Aug 11th and at that time told me to her knowledge, the home would be available Sept 1. Upon me reaching out Aug 28th for follow up, it was at that time [redacted] inform** me the home will not be ready Sept 1. It was not right for the company to take my application on a home that had an undetermin** completion date. I never became beligerant with [redacted], I simply told her (which I have the emails) that it was rude of the person showing the home to take back such inaccurate information. I never mention** a daycare at all. I work for Anthem BCBS and I have for 6 consecutive years. I have never receiv** an email from this company unless I reach** out first and even then it would be days before I'd get a response. [redacted] not only told me that I'd have to reapply but she also told me the house was taken and they have a pending leases signed. The house show** last Saturday and Sunday as well and was open for new applicants to continue to apply even with a pending sign** lease. I was never offer** the home. Period. I wait** on an approv** application for two months and no one ever reach** out to me. In one of the last communications, [redacted] even inform** me she hadn't reach** out because there was a wait on some cabinets that had been ordered. The sand cabinets are in the home and was never replaced. I also have pictures of that. [redacted] was rude to me. I have proof of that. She wouldn't reply for two weeks at a time. I love the home and had been looking for two years for space, affordability, at least two baths and a good area. This house fit perfect. I begg** for the home for me family of six and wait** two months for the home to complete. Now I don't get the rental and my application is expired. I just want me $40 back since I was wrong** and never offer** a home I was approv** for even after the rehab complet** 60 days later.

Ms [redacted] complet** a rental application on a property that was in rehab.  She was advis** that the application processing fee was non refundable.  At the top of the application, it is not** that the processing fee is non refundable.  She chose to complete an application on a property...

that was still in the rehab process.  We made no promises at any time as to the completion date of the property.  We ran into extenuating circumstances and the repairs took longer to complete than anticipated.  Ms [redacted] did attend several showings and indicat** at one of the showings that she ran a daycare.  We cannot rent to day care providers as that is a violation of our insurance.  We reach** out to Ms [redacted] for clarification on the daycare situation. She then deni** ever saying she ran a daycare.  She then start** to insult my staff and became belligerent to communicate with. We did process her application.  We did approve her application.  She was notifi** she was approv** shortly after she complet** the application.  We explain** to her before she complet** the application that the fee was non refundable.  We have ask** her for an updat** application as we only keep applications on file for 30 days.  We told her we would not charge her for processing the new application.  However,  we do ne** updat** information and clarification on the day care issue. Sincerely, [redacted]

No one, I mean one one should be subjected to the abuse at the hands of these property owners and managers. My husband and I rented an apartment from them and they were beyond negligent. They often times broke contractual agreements--removal of snow was seldom done or done extremely late in the day causing us to miss work and school on a number of occasions. If you would try to talk to them or complain, they would retaliate. They tried to cheat us out of our security deposit and suggested that we paid less than the deposit amount even though we had a signed receipt by their manager. State of Wisconsin Consumer protection has over one dozen complaints about this company. Why they are allowed to continue to do business escapes me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS...A NIGHTMARE!
