Oberg and Lindquist has been trying to assist this customer in resolving the issue through GE warranty serviceAs a retailer we understand that the customer is still not satisfied with this unitWe have agreed to take this unit back and allow the customer to choose a different one
range delivered 3/7/16. Customer called on 6/11/16 requiring service for the appliance, he states there was a fire in the oven. Unit is in warranty so GE technician went to repair unit on 6/13/16 (next business day)at no charge. Customer would not give Oberg information on how the fire started. GE... tech states-issue is not a manufacturer's defect, operation of unit explained to consumer, unit is fine to use as long as consumer cleans out the powder from using a fire extinguisher. [redacted] was extremely irate and hung up on us as we tried to help him. We offered to have another technician come out to check the unit again. He refused, hung up on us numerous times and was verbally abusive. Customer has a case with GE. A second Ge technician went out again on 6/21 and unit is in working order and operation was explained to consumer again.
