Purchased a 2020 Kia *** from this dealership and the cost of $599 was tacked onto the sale price for 'Environmental Paint Protection'. I was never asked if I wanted it and had turned down an extended warranty and tire warranty while explaining to the salesman that I never approve any type of extended warranties on vehicles.
After looking over the papers I signed, I saw there was an additional charge for paint protection. When I called to ask about it, explaining I did not want it, the GM told me the good news was that it wasn't put on yet. I asked to be reimbursed for it and I was told it came with the car. However, the original sales invoice on vehicle window did not include paint protection. When speaking to the salesman about it and my frustration with their unscrupulous sales practices, he said he didn't know that was added and that the finance department must have added it onto the price of the car. I confirmed with other Kia dealerships that they allow the consumer to make the choice if they would like paint protection or not.
To this day, I still have not received a refund nor the change they owe me. I paid for part of the car with cash and was told a check would be mailed out to me since the dealership didn't have any cash on hand! Still waiting.

In regards to Complaint ***:
*** was offered the Zurich protection package, which she agreed to and signed for at the time of delivery. It was agreed that she would come back to have the protection package added to the exterior of the car. *** called our Sales Manager, Dan B, the following day. He invited her back to the dealership to go over all the paperwork and do the protection package. *** did not show up for the appointment and has not been back to the dealership since delivery.
Upon receiving this complaint, I have decided to refund *** the cost of this package and cancel the warranty that was included with the package.
We will send the customer a check for $613, which included the $14 owed to her.
