My husband and I have an account with SCFCU and keep ample money in the account Two years ago, we attempted to use our VISA/ATM card when we were on vacation in the United States to pay for hotel room/dining expenses Charges were declined We contacted SCFCU and were told that our limit for the day was exceeded Okay, no problem We used our regular checking account to pay for things This year, we still have plenty of money in SCFCU Went to make a purchase using SCFCU card under the daily limitIt was deniedMy husband drove to the local branch in Seaford and asked about it Told it was a 'glitch' in the system I called about the 'glitch' and got very rude service Told me that I had to make more purchases and get declined in order for them to find out why we are being declined No other options were given -- not that the card was bad or that their system was at fault Just use my card and get rejected all the time \ Service at SCFCU is AWFUL
