Review: On Friday, May 24, I gave the owner a $2000 deposit to install security cameras on Mon., June 3. The owner cashed the check that same day, and then subsequently tried to change the terms of the contract he provided, including reducing the number of cameras originally agreed on. When we could not agree, I requested a refund. He has refused the refund while he determines how much of the deposit to keep, suggesting he will need to charge me for equipment he claims to have ordered (no proof of purchase order) as well as a $60 restocking fee.
