individually rather than in one order, the orders were flagged for potential fraud risk and required additional verification. We sent this request to the buyer's email address (as he provided on the order) within 48 hours of receiving the order. In it, we requested a scan of his government-issued photo ID as well as the credit card used for the order. We also indicated if we did not receive the information back within 72 hours, the order was subject to cancellation and his money could either a) stay on account as a credit he could use towards future tickets, or b) be refunded back to the method of payment used, as long as he provided us with a written request. The order verification process is a fairly straightforward one, and one we periodically use to protect ourselves against fraud. However, the buyer never returned the information and the orders were subsequently canceled. His statement that we called him in the days following the orders is completely incorrect, and our phone records confirm this. We never heard from the buyer again until almost five months later, on December 17, 2014, when he called us inquiring about the status of the orders. While it is very bizarre that someone who believed they made a legitimate purchase would wait five months to inquire about the status of the order, we explained to him that they had been canceled due to him not completing the required order verification and because he had waited for such a long period of time to correspond with us, the tickets had been re-sold following their cancellation and were no longer available for us to offer him. The buyer then requested a refund, which we completed via two PayPal payments to his account totaling the original purchase price of $ 994.00 on December 30, 2014. Even if his version of events were completely true, which they are absolutely not, he would not be entitled to any more than his purchase price, which we already refunded him. Unless the buyer has any new evidence to add to this case, this matter is closed and we will not communicate any further regarding it. SIGNATURE TICKETS1-888-966-TIXXwww.signaturetickets.com
Review: In July, 2014 I bought a lot of tickets to a hockey game in January 2015 from Surf City's website, signaturetickets.com. I made 4 purchases through their website and one purchase from them through ebay. I paid in full and received a confirmation email. The following day they called me to inquire what was special about this game that I bought so many tickets, and I explained that there were rumors that this may be the game that the Ducks will retire Temu Selanne's jersey and I am buying them for speculative reasons to resell them if the prices go up. They were ok with that and told me that they would send me the tickets. Since then the Ducks have announced the ceremony and the price of tickets to the game skyrocketed on the secondary market. Surf City did not send me my tickets, they just relisted them on the secondary market for much higher prices (some of the tickets which I bought are still listed for sale by them). I called them and they made up some story that they sent me an email for some verification to which I never responded so they cancelled the order. This was a lie, they never sent me such an email. I asked them to forward me that email which I never got from them and they did not do so. Until now, they did not do anything about my order, they just kept the money and did not correspond with me. The tickets which I paid for are worth more than $3000 in profit above the price that I paid for them, in the secondary market for those tickets.
In the meantime, I filed a dispute with the credit card against the charge for those tickets, but it's really not fair that they are not delivering the tickets which I paid forDesired Settlement: They should honor the sale of the tickets which I paid for, and deliver the tickets

Review: Signature Tickets (also DBA Surf City Tickets) sold me four tickets to the Cubs at Braves game at Turner Field on May 10 via their eBay store on March 29, 2014, which I paid $155.80 for using Paypal. The first issue that I noticed upon receipt of the tickets was that they were in section 124, however, when I received the tickets I noticed they were in section 123. I reread the listing and it said the tickets were subject to the seller "upgrading the seats at their discretion," so I figured these were like-for-like seats. When my family and I went to the game and tried to enter the Turner Field, the "hard" tickets (ticket office ticket, not e-ticket) would not scan at the gate, so the ticket taker sent us to the ticket office to figure out what was wrong. After spending 45 minutes at the ticket office they found out that the person who owned the season tickets that I purchased printed the e-tickets at home and had already used them to get into the game before we tried to enter, thus rendering our hard tickets useless. The Braves said we were left with no option but to purchase four new tickets to get into the game, which we did since we drove two hours to get there. After filing a request with Signature Tickets for a refund, they were prompt in saying they would investigate and "make it right" but after three weeks of trying to communicate via email and phone, they stopped responding and I never received my refund. I have copies of the electronic correspondences between the seller and myself to show attempts to resolve this situation civilly but have been left with no option but to pursue other avenues of reimbursement, such as through the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $155.80 transferred to me immediately. No apology necessary, just a refund.

Customer claimed an issue with the tickets after the event. We told him we would investigate his claim and make it right provided we could validate it. We were unable to do so, which is why no refund has been issued. The customer claimed the tickets granted him entry into the ballpark and he was then told they were invalid. Based on our extensive experience with major league stadiums, he would not have been allowed into the stadium at all had the tickets been invalid. Customer also attempted to contacted eBay and open a claim for his claim. As this transaction occurred on eBay, the buyer/seller protection and claim process is the appropriate way to settle any disputes. It should be noted that eBay did not support his claim either and denied his request to open a formal claim on this transaction. At this point, unless he has any additional supporting evidence to validate his claim, we consider the matter closed.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to
complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not
resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed
appear below.
I attempted to contact the company, Surf City Tickets (also DBA Signature
Tickets) via the eBay website to let them know of the problem. As you can
see in the attached documents and addressing the seller's response to your contact below, I have a well-documented attempt to resolve the
issue with Signature Tickets up until the time they no longer returned emails
or calls in late May. I will touch on each of their points individually
below:
Seller's False Statement #1: The
customer claimed the tickets granted him entry into the ballpark and he was
then told they were invalid.
My response: As stated to the seller on page 28 of 35 of the
attached documents, we were never allowed into the stadium with the tickets
purchased from Signature Tickets and I had to purchase four new tickets at
face value cost to the game at the ticket office to get into the game (see
attached copy of Braves receipt showing last four of credit card and a redacted
copy of my credit card). The four tickets that I received from Signature Tickets did not
work for anything at all, not even to get us access to the 755 Club, they only
took us there to the ticket office to see if they could figure out why the
tickets we received from Signature tickets did not work. As stated in the eBay correspondence sent to
the seller on 5/15/14, “We were not allowed access to either the game or the
755 Club by these tickets. We were only taken there so they could try to figure
out why they wouldn't let us into Turner Field. Once they found the season
ticket holder printed paper copies of the tickets at home it automatically invalidated
the hard tickets that I bought from your company. At that point we had to buy
four brand new tickets to get in.”
Based on our extensive experience with major
league stadiums, he would not have been allowed into the stadium at all had the
tickets been invalid.
My response: Again,
neither I nor my family were allowed into the stadium with any of the tickets
received from Signature Tickets. See above statement.
Customer also attempted to
contacted eBay and open a claim for his claim. As this transaction occurred on
eBay, the buyer/seller protection and claim process is the appropriate way to
settle any disputes.
My response: As seen in the
attached document, I attempted to work this out in the manner that eBay
encourages regarding complaint resolution, which is to first work directly with
the seller to resolve any issue. I did this (again, see attachments),
which was to my detriment.
Seller's False Statement #2: It
should be noted that eBay did not support his claim either and denied his
request to open a formal claim on this transaction.
My response: eBay's policy allows for their buyer/seller
protection claims to cover purchases within 30 days of the purchase, which in
my case began on March 29, 2014. I
attempted to work out the issue with the seller until May 29, 2014, which was
61 days (30 days ended on April 24, 14 days BEFORE the May 10th
ballgame). This is why eBay could not
legally pursue my claim. It had nothing to do with the seller's claim
that “eBay did not support his claim” but everything to do with their own
policies. Directly from eBay’s Money
Back Guarantee page (see http://pages.ebay.com/ebay-money-back-guarantee/):
“’You’re eligible for
the eBay Money Back Guarantee as long as you contact your seller within 30 days
of the estimated delivery date."
At this point, unless he
has any additional supporting evidence to validate his claim, we consider the
matter closed.
My response: See above and all attached documents. I still expect a full refund from Signature
Tickets in the amount of $155.80.
