The company to file the complaint on would be Suretec Appliance as I have already sent a request for a complaint on American Home Shield. Thanks,
Untimely and incompetent. My home warranty provider sent Suretec to fix my dishwasher. Suretec provided a 4 hour window to arrive 2 days after I called. My wife stayed home from work to be available. Suretec's technician missed the window without any notification--I called their dispatch myself to inquire and was told he would be an hour late. The tech finally arrived after my wife had been waiting for 7 hours. He spent less than 15 minutes with the dishwasher and said it needed a new control panel that would have to be ordered. He left, and I never heard anything back from Suretec. I called after a week. The dispatcher said they had ordered the part but it would take a week or two to get it and they would call me to schedule another appointment. Two days later, my home warranty company called to tell me that Suretec didn't know the model of my dishwasher (apparently the tech had neglected to take even this basic information down before leaving), so they couldn't order the parts that they had previously told me were already ordered. The home warranty company needed to send a different provider out to start over. Through the entirety of my two week experience with Suretec, they never once called me themselves to seek to explain delays, problems, or anything else. And apparently, they not only cannot fix what they are sent to fix, but they can't even take basic information to order parts. I would never recommend this company to anyone, for anything.
Review: SureTec was assigned by American home shield to repair my built in microwave back in mid October 2015. First I had the company has a rude receptionists who will not call you back and when she answers the phone which is attached to their fax she hung up on me telling me I got her fax messed up because she picked up my call. After multiple calls to AHS to contact Sure Tec,The company sent somebody who basically looked at the machine realized he needed a partner to help dismantle the machine but would nit admit to that and just said the control panel was bad but turned out when he got the part and came with another partner that it was a different problem. I have had problems with this company receiving parts from AHS and not not contacting me for days to weeks. I have had problems with the company not calling to schedule appoingments and when you do you get the rudeness from the receptionists who by the way has no clue what is going on with the repairs or have the decency to reach out to anybody that knows what is going on. My repair has not been completed and I am still waiting. The parts were allegedly delivered to Suretec on December 18th and again its December 23rd with no contact from Suretec. I have tried and AHS has tried with no response.Desired Settlement: To finish the job in a timely manner. 2 months is along time to get a microwave fixed!!.
Review: I contacted American home shield to have my cook top repaired because I had three burners working and one burner that would randomly work. They sent Suretec appliance out to make the repairs. The repair guy came to my home to look at my cook top. 3 of the four burners were working and one burner was not. He determined I needed the burner replaced and collected his 100 dollar service fee for looking at the job. When he replaced the parts to repair the burner that wasn’t working he immediately blew a fuse. He then asked me if I had another fuse, which I shouldn’t have had to provide him with, and I gave him another fuse. He then tried to turn my stove on and blew a second fuse. I asked him to check and see if everything was wired correctly and he proceeded to argue with me about electricity. I’m an engineer and I’m very aware of how electricity works. I explained that something was grounding out and blowing the fuse. He then told me I had an electrical problem and left my home without completing the repair because it was 5pm. If there were truly an electrical problem then the cook top would have been blowing fuses prior to him arriving. I tried to call customer service at AHS where a very rude woman told me that all she could do was put in another service request for the same contract company to come back out and look at my stove. Suretec would not answer any of my phone calls or emails. Instead they contacted American home Shield and said they couldn’t fix my cook top and to send my repair to another company. Now I will be without a stove until god knows when. I already had to take a half day at work because the contractor could only come between 12 and 5 pm. He just wouldn’t take the time to look at the work he had done to see if the wiring was correct before leaving my house and I went from having a working stove to not having a stove at all. The home warranty company has also been no help in this matter. I can’t eat out every day I have kids to feed and I don’t have a stove. This was so unprofessional the tech was extremely rude and talking down to me as if I were stupid because I’m female.Desired Settlement: I need suretec to replace my cook top or repair it
Review: On 05/06/2014, this company was scheduled to come in and replace an exterior stove glass through American Home Shield. After the part was ordered the repairmen came to fix the glass only to find out that AHS had ordered the interior glass by mistake. After realizing that there was an error made,I was told that I should only use the stove if necessary because the interior glass would not insulate as well as the exterior. After the repairmen left my home, I realized that my stove door would no longer stay open by itself; it would close automatically if not held down so that items could be placed into the stove. On 06/01/14, the correct part was overnighted via Fed-Ex to SureTec Appliance Repair. According to an AHS representative, it is expected that the vendor is to contact the client with 24-48 to schedule a follow up appointment. It is now July 23, 2014 and I have only been contacted by Suretec when someone was "in the area" with as little as 20 minutes prior notice other than an 8 PM phone call in an attempt for the company to make a next day reapir. In the middle of the conversation with my husband, the representative from Suretec hung up and would not answer a return phone call. The customer service is absolutely irresponsible and rude! We are a working family and appropriate time must be given to the consumer --- that is NOT when it is convenient to the contractor!! Now, almost two months later, I still have a stove that is in worse shape than it was prior to Suretec coming to my home. I have paid for services that have not been completed and Suretec is in posession of the glass that righfully belongs in my stove not the back of a repair van.Desired Settlement: A $75 service fee was paid to Suretec in early May (as required by American Home Shield, home warranty company). Due to Suretec being in possesion of the part needed for repair, AHS will not schudule anyone else to come in and complete the needed service. The stove should be completely repaired as indicated in the contract.

Response:
At this time, my complaint, ID 10146668 regarding Suretec Appliance Repair has been resolved.
Please note that the contractor avoided ALL calls made by AHS in an attempt to resolve this issue. After weeks of failed attempts of communication, SureTec finally responded to a text made by me to "please return the glass so that I could schedule installation with another provider due to AHS's unwillingness to purchase another one for me. Upon arriving at my home the only one of the employees would even acknowledge that I was speaking to them. This contractor not only performs sub-par work, they are also rude and inconsiderate of both contracts and consumers!!!!
Sincerely,
Review: Complaint against American Home Shield (AHS), and Suretec Appliance Repair:-Original call date to AHS for service on Kenmore Elite Oasis dryer was 11/30/2014. Explained dryer was not starting when pressing start button, and flashing F1 on screen. AHS set appointment date on 12/3/2014 with Suretec.-Suretec came out 12/3/2014 to look at dryer, statement/customer order # [redacted], order taken by Wayne, while a female, not wearing any Suretec logo clothing, sat in the van in my driveway while the male quickly checked out the dryer. Statement/customer order shows that I needed a User Interface, and an Electronic Control. I wrote a $75 check, shows on statement/customer order that I wrote a $75 check, and check cleared my bank on 12/4/2014.-Suretec came back out on 12/14/2014, another male (not Wayne), showed up with the wrong part. He came with a GE dryer knob, and I explained to him that my dryer is a Kenmore Elite Oasis NOT a GE dryer, and I did NOT have a knob issue. The male then states They told me it was a knob. I explained to him again that it was not, and that we didnt have a visit scheduled for today so he must be at the wrong house, and gave him my husbands cell phone number to call him to speak about the issue as I was trying to sleep for work that night. He agreed to call my husband, which he did, and he set a date for service for 12/15/2014.-Suretec male #2 came out again on 12/15/2014, installed one part (box states console) and stated we needed another part, a control panel, and that we would be in touch. Days went by with no info from Suretec, or AHS. Several failed attempts to call Suretec by my husband and I occured during this time frame.-Contacted AHS on 12/26/2014 to try to get info on dryer repair and future service date because still hadnt gotten anywhere with attempts to contact Suretec, and the male from AHS was EXTREMELY rude! Asked to speak to a manager and was told a manager would contact me or my husband.-Contacted AHS again on morning of 12/29/2014 after a manager, or anyone has failed to contact us and after numerous failed attempts in contacting Suretec throughout a span of several days has occured. A female from AHS stated that they would try to contact Suretec on our behalf and that they would have to give the company 24hrs. to try to resolve issue before switching to another company for another service call.-My husband called AHS again on 12/30/2014 at 8:34pm because the 24hr time frame had passed that they told us theyd inform us, and they did NOT. Was given a date with a new company, Sears, for a repair call Tuesday, January 6th but couldnt schedule till Friday, January 9th due to scheduling with both of our jobs.-I called AHS back at 9:02p.m. on 12/30/2014 to ensure that Sears would know which part needed to be installed on the repair date we have scheduled for next Friday, January 9th, as to not hold up the repair as it has now been a whole month since contacting them. I was told by the female I spoke to that Sears would not be able to order the part, that in fact they would have to start a whole new work order and do their own assessment on the dryer. I then let the female know that I was contacting the Revdex.com and let her know each date I had written down that I had contacted them, or service dates. She confirmed all dates to be accurate.-As we are a family of 5, we can NOT be without a working dryer. We have at least 1-2 loads of laundry that we do per day. That said, we were forced to rent a dryer knowing we would be without one, on 12/3/2014, from Rent A Center in the amount of $46.31. Since then, to keep the dryer each week, we are forced to pay a total of $24.71 per week. Therefore, bringing us to a total of $95.73 paid so far. We will have to continue to pay $24.71 per week until our dryer is repaired or replaced. And, with our current service date not being for over another week, I already know I have to pay at least another weeks fee to Rent A Center as we can NOT be without a dryer.-I am contacting the Revdex.com for help with this issue. I think it is absurd for a company to have an unresolved issue for this long. Especially since we have paid our premium for the year up front AND we paid our service call fee upfront...yet we still have no dryer, with no repair soon in sight as Sears will have to do a whole new work order. I expect AHS to call me or my husband to resolve this issue, to apologize for ALL of the inconvenience AND stress this has caused our family, and I expect them to cover ALL of the charges for the dryer rental at the very least! Their absence in resolving this matter is unacceptable! We should not have to stay on top of this company to do their jobs when we have done our job as a customer by paying all our dues and being available for phone calls and for service calls around both of our work schedules. I expect a response! If not, I will be forced to look in to other options to force this company to resolve this issue.-I can send a picture/scanned document of statement/customer order invoice, picture of box that the first part was in from Suretec, and the Rent A Center bill if needed.-Suretec info on box is:Suretec Appliance Repair[redacted].Slidell, La. 70461-Suretec info on invoice states:Suretec ApplianceHome Service Provider###-###-####Desired Settlement: At this point, I do not wish to deal with this company. However, I feel that no one else should have to deal with them either as I feel that they are possibly committing some type of contractor fraud. Someone needs to look into this company. To date, they have cashed my $75 check, a fee required by American Home Shield for a service repair, and I still do not have a working dryer. I also filed the above claim under American Home Shield.

Response:
The company to file the complaint on would be Suretec Appliance as I have already sent a request for a complaint on American Home Shield.
Review: My home warranty company assigned Sure Tec to fix our dryer. The technician said he fixed it, but the first time I used it, it continued with the same issues--screeching noise. We called Sure Tec back, but their messages were full. After calling back several times, we finally got someone. They sent a technician out and found some significant issues. He said he had to get parts and he would call us that afternoon to let us know if he found the parts. He never called back. Two days later we called Sure Tec back and get a message service. We left a message-- no call back. After several more tries, we could not get anyone and the message box was full. I ended up calling my home warranty company and they intervened to try to help get an idea of when the parts would be in for my dryer. The home warranty company also had trouble getting in touch with Sure Tec. So, it is 3 weeks later, I am out of the 75 service fee with no working dryer for the past 3 weeks and no idea if the parts from my dryer have been ordered or not or when it will get fixed. Don't use this company! They are shady and lie to you.Desired Settlement: I want my $75 back, and I never want to do business with them again.
