December 3, 2017Dear [redacted]:l am writing this letter regards to ID #: [redacted] for the transaction made on November 15, 2017 at 2:54pm in the amount of $40.25 at Supreme DollarCity located at [redacted]., Upper Darby,PA [redacted]. Customer named [redacted] came to our store and made [redacted]...

Debit/Credit Card purchasein the amount of $40.25. During this transaction, there was an error on our credit card terminal and thetransaction didn’t process. So, we made another attempt to proceed this transaction with the sameamount. On the second attempt, the complete transaction was processed with no error. Customercame hack the next day explaining that $40.25 got charged twice. We explained to our customer thatwe will look into our transaction details and will call her back. On 11/18/2017, **. [redacted] calledour store and explained to her that our transaction detail shows no sign of it being charged twice. Also,we made an attempt to explain that there are 5 institutions (Supreme Dollar City,‘Credit Card ProcessingCompany, Credit Card Company, Customer's Bank associated with credit card, and [redacted]) arebeing involved about this matter and we will do further investigation to make sure about his matter.Also, we tried to explain that custonler’s credit card company may have put the ?rst transaction on holdbefore it gets released back to the customer. So we asked customer to just wait couple days to be sureand we will also keep an eye out for any additional miscellaneous charges that may show from our end.But the customer did not give chance to explain further and hung up.After receiving the complaint letter from Revdex.com on December, 4, 2017, we did further investigation by calling our merchant services and explained the situation regards to this matter. The customer representative took close look at the transactions that were processed on that day and told usthat it shows the duplicate transaction in the amount of $40.25 on 11/15/Z017. Also, explained that thisduplicate transaction was solely caused by system error from the [redacted] Bank Card Servicesand the $40.25 refund was processed on December 3, 2017 to [redacted] Debit/Credit Card ending in [redacted].Please understand the refund process will take from 5 to 10 business days depending on the credit card or bank that is associated with the credit card. Please see attached copy of detail transaction report that was printed on 11/15/2017 from our credit card terminal, detail transaction report for 11/15/2017 received from the [redacted] Bank Card Services showing duplicate charge with the credit card ending in [redacted]. Also, the detail transaction report received from the [redacted] Bank Card Services showing the $40.25 refund was processed on 12/3/2017 to [redacted] Debit/Credit Card ending in [redacted] for your reference is also attached.If you have any further questions or concerns for this matter, please feel free contact me at ###-###-####.
