Review: After dropping off laundry for wash & fold service on 8/5/14, had extreme difficulty picking laundry up, as it was usually closed despite its store hours listing it as open until 4:30PM. Store held irregular, and multiple-hour long lunches. Customer noticed additional customers complaining, with some waiting for two hours to pick up their laundry.Dropped laundry off on the Tuesday (8/5/14), was notified on Wednesday (8/6/14) that it was ready for pick up. Showed up at 1:45PM that day and waiting until 2:00PM - store was closed for lunch. Showed up the next day, Thursday (8/7/14), at 12:30PM, and waited until 1:30PM - also closed for lunch, was notified by another customer that it had been closed for two hours. Showed up on Friday (8/8/14) at 3:30PM, store was also closed for lunch. Finally, after calling their customer service, they were able to locate the owner, and she returned, and I was able to pick up my laundry. Owner then cursed me out, refused to talk, and told me to leave the store - refusing to give me a refund.Luckily the customer service representative I reached on the phone - as this is a local laundromat connected to a chain - was polite, apologized, and said they will be sending a refund to my address.Desired Settlement: For the local owner to be notified of the complaint, and for an apology.

Response:
[redacted] called from the business. She stated that a female dropped the laundry off on a Tuesday. She was told that they might not be ready by the end of the day but they should be ready by the next day. [redacted] was able to finish the laundry and called around 2:30 or 3 pm to let the female customer know and to also let her know that she closed as 4:30pm. She did not head from the customer again but on Friday [redacted] came into the store demanding the laundry. He was rude and abrasive about the difficulty in picking up the laundry. The store hours are 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. On Friday she was a little late coming back from lunch due to traffic and unforeseen issues. However, the customer demanded a refund of the price paid. [redacted] had no idea who this gentleman was as no one had called her to let her know another person was going to be picking up the laundry. She had to threaten calling the police in order to get the gentleman to leave due to his behavior. The price will not be refund as the service was performed.
