I am rejecting this response because:This is a complete lie.Trevor told me that my daughter was responsible for my debt and to go and ask her husband for $3000 so her husband wouldn't have a fit if it went on their credit report.Over and over he told me this until I started stating back to him that authorized user wasn't responsible for somebodys debt that is when he got his boss on the phone. He had me so upset and I guess he thought scaring people with lies I would have her ask for the money. His boss even kept telling me that he wasn't sure if a authorized user was responsible for another's debt then he went on to say that my daughter probably wasn't responsible when they both knew darn good and well that she wasn't responsible. They were just trying to scare me into asking someone for the money and this sould be against the law.
In response to Ms *** complaintWhen the account was purchased by my client and placed with out office both the *** *** and *** *** were listed on the accountAfter contacting Ms *** she stated she was just an authorized user of the account and to contact *** *** her
motherUpon reaching *** *** she stated *** *** was never on the account, during the conversation there was discussion regarding Ms ***s legal liability, and being an Authorized User means she wouldn't be liable for the charged off account but if she was a co consumer on the card she wouldMs *** was concerned about it reflecting on Ms ***s credit and her liability, during the conversation, we didn't have any information to support Ms *** statement Ms *** shouldn't have been authorized on the account at all and we didn't know what liability Ms *** hadThe call was transferred to *** the Manager in an attempt to work with Ms *** on the delinquency, she was concerned with Ms ***s liability, we explained to Ms *** we didn't know how Ms *** was on the account, but we would work with her directly to resolve the outstanding balanceWe couldn't answer Ms *** concern for Ms ***s liability because according to Ms *** she shouldn't have ever been listed on the accountIt appears Ms *** was an authorized user of the account per our research and has no legal liability to the debt
Superlative RM ("SRM") is in receipt of Ms***'s second complaint and her rejection of the initial response.Ms*** is correct in the fact that she does not have a debt with Superlative RMHowever, she does have a debt that has been placed with Superlative RM for collectionsAs part of the file assignment her partially redacted social security number is part of the fileIn an effort to provide a higher level of customer service, Superlative RM is able to provide a local phone number to many of its customers as matter of convenienceThose #s are owned by Superlative RM and ring directly to this officeA copy of our currenct license is in good standing is attached.,The previous effort to work with Ms*** towards an amicable resolution still standsShe can contact *** *** directly at ###-###-####.Regards*** ** ***Chief Compliance OfficerSuperlative Receivables Mangement***###-###-####
Superlative RM trains employees and adheres to all requirements of the FDCPA and State laws. Superlative RM records all calls and prior to any conversation, every collector states to every consumer that the call is being recorded. This call, as are all calls, was recorded.
Superlative RM did attempt to reach this consumer at her place of employment, one time. On the first attempt, the consumer responded yes when asked by name. The consumers acqusation that a co-worker spoke to the collector is inaccurate unless the co-worker identified herself as the consumer. Superlative RM requires its collectors to further identify the consumer by a second attribute such as DOB or Lof SSN. The consumer refused to provide 2nd attribute and stated she can not receive calls at her place of employment. Superlative RM has a policy that if a consumer asks for calls to cease at the place of employment, the call is to be terminated and blocked from further calls. The call did end, and the collector did block the consumers place of employment number from our system. No further calls to the consumers place of employment have been made.Thank you*** ***Chief Compliance OfficerSuperlative RM

for consumers that resolve their debt. We operate in compliance with the laws that regulate our industry, and we hope to play an important and productive role in people’s lives. On April 16, 2015 Superlative RM received a collection amount for Ms. [redacted]. On April 23, 2015 our Collection Representative, Joseph [redacted], placed a call to the Home telephone # listed on the account ###-###-####. In order to avoid third-party disclosure, and per Company Policy, the representative is required to properly identify the answering party by both name and any one of the following: current mailing address, date of birth, last four digits of SSN. Once proper identification has been received by the representative is then able to disclose the nature of the call. Ms. [redacted] eventually confirmed her address to Mr. [redacted] and he was able to advise her on the debt that was placed for collections. At no time during the call did Mr. [redacted] laugh at Ms. [redacted] and at no time during this call was there any mention that the debt would be reported to the credit bureaus. SRM does not do any credit reporting. As required under the FDCPA, a letter was sent to Ms. [redacted] at her confirmed address on April 24, 2015 the content of which provides her with a 30 day debt validation period. In conjunction with this response a request for account validation has been made to our client. Superlative RM disagrees with the characterization portrayed by Ms. [redacted] but we are eager to work with her towards an amicable resolution once the debt validation has been procured. I am rejecting this response because: they didn't address my concerns at all. I do not have a debt with this company. I DO NOT give them permission to store my social security number, I DO NOT see why they need to operate under two different company names except that they are scammers. And also they use a local number but are in CA, very suspicious. I demand to see a copy of their license.
Review: This morning I got a phone call from this business. First of all, they called me from a local (to me) area code when they are in fact in CA. They are claiming that I owe them a debt. I explained to them calmly and clearly that I did not and that they must validate the claim under Federal Law. It seemed to me the person who called me is not very well versed in the FDCPA, as he berated me and stated they were going to report the debt to the collection agencies when I told him I disputed it and he was wrong. This is illegal. It is not MY responsibility to notify them in writing that I dispute a debt but their responsibility to prove I owe them. Nonetheless, I have to go out of my way and take time away from my work to mail them a letter today in an attempt to have this fraudulent account removed from my credit report.Desired Settlement: 1,500 for violation of FCDPA as is my right under law.

Review: When this collection agency called my place of employment the first time, I asked that they not call me at work because I cannot take personal phone calls. The female rep then continued the conversation by asking questions to confirm my home address and my birth date. I informed her that I could not take personal calls at work and she still was talking over me, trying to get me to state my full name and birth date. So I told her "please do not call me at work again, goodbye." And I promptly hung up. I was then asked by my supervisor what that call was all about because she overheard me on the phone and I had no choice but to admit that it was a personal call for me. I given a verbal warning about accepting personal calls. Today, at 12:40 p.m. (CST), this collection agency called my job and remained silent on the line. This is not the first time this has occurred. I have looked on our caller ID numerous times when they call and the numbers they call me from, match the ones that they call me from on my home #. The numbers are 630-405-7475 or 630-405-7479. I believe this company is calling and staying silent on the line just to harass and embarrass me at work. They never send me anything in writing so I do not have a contact address for them to write a request to stop calling me a work. I believe that if they continue this behavior, my job will be in jeopardy.Desired Settlement: If they would like to discuss the nature of their business, they can do so in writing. If they do not have my home address, then they do not have legitimate business issues to discuss. At this point, I don't know what they are seeking. I would not like my contact info shared with them if you do get ahold of them. They should have this info if I did any sort of business with them. Please have them stop calling me at both my home/cell # and my place of employment.
