No toilet working, unacceptable accommodations, desk clerk attitude
I was excited to stay at the historic Floridan hotel as I had stayed there in ** years prior! When attending concerts/events in ***, Florida as a young woman Our entrance into the Floridan Palace Hotel was all "oohs and ahhs" as it is just so elegant with crystal chandeliers, oversized baroque & rococo furniture Spacious and old world charm It did not disappoint (though parking was concerning as there was no SIGN indicating the fenced area was actually hotel parking)
Check in, while busy, was not terrible - our room assigned appeared nice and adequate We did have to have the sheets changed as (always a first check) as they were stained! An early dinner in lounge bar & grille was excellent
Back to the room, the toilet chain broke and we reported this to the front desk We went out to a concert and was told it would be fixed while we were out We returned around after 12:AM - and were incredib
