I decided to replace my flimsy garage door with an insulated and better "curb" appeal door along with an opener that did not sound like a quarry rock crushing machine. I did a lot of research on doors and openers trying to find a solution that fit my requirements. Those were a quiet system with battery back-up, an insulated door, and windows. I engaged six companies for project bids and all of them were close on price and product. I finally decided on Superior Overhead Doors of Murfreesboro due to [redacted]'s interaction and responsiveness. What was noteworthy to me is [redacted] was the only vendor who gave me a rebate coupon for a free LiftMaster Internet Gateway ($80 value) while everyone else quoted the product. We also upgraded the door springs and rollers at a much lower cost than the competitors were charging giving me a much better solution. Based on [redacted]'s recommendations I selected the Amarr 3000 Hillcrest door along with the LiftMaster 8550 DC Battery Backup Belt Drive. The installation team of Joel and Robby did a great job, were friendly, and in a few hours had the old door/equipment down and the new door/equipment installed and running.

The door looks great and is very solid, and when combined with the LiftMaster 8550 DC the opening and closing of the door is whisper quiet.
