Our records indicate that Mr*** brought his vehicle to our repair shop on March 31,with 105,miles The vehicle was diagnosed and found to have a worn outtransmission and defective cv axleWe had initially quoted to use a $rebuilt transmissionfrom a low mileage vehicle which came
with a month warranty from a well known localvendorHowever Mr*** insisted that we purchase a $transmission as recommendedby his warranty companyThis transmission came with only a day warranty from anunknown vendor in Rhode IslandIn compliance with his request we ordered the rebuilttransmission from Rhode Island and installed this in his vehicle. After installing this transmission, it too was found to be defectiveAfter numerousdiscussions with the customer, warranty company, and vendor of the defective transmission, itwas decided by all parties to install the unit Superior had originally suggestedThis transmissionworks and comes with a month warranty.Because of the delay in this repair, Superior and the warranty company have absorbed thecost of removing the original transmission and the first replacement, including a new spindle andcv axles. After reflecting on these issues, we feel that we have dealt with this consumer in a fairand professional manner.Superior Auto Sales has been in business for over years and is deeply committed tomaintaining satisfied customers, and in resolving any issues that may arise.Very truly,SUPERIOR AUTO SALES, INC.Richard JI***, PresidentCamp Road ? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
They didn't mention a big part of my complaint, work they were supposed to be doing under the warranty but never touchedOr that I wanted the transmissions returned to meThey're also still lying about the cost of the transmissionsIt's one thing to charge slightly over their cost, but to give me one price over the phone, and then add another $on top of it when when they write up the bill isn't rightThey think that a $credit is a fair resolution to this, but they made that back and more simply in the $overcharge on the second transmission, plus I still had to pay over $in my car payments, and over $in insurance during the four months my car sat in their parking lot while they were supposed to be working on itOnly to get back a car that I still cannot drive

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However I wish to clarify a few items. As far as Superior claiming that I failed to inform them that my vehicle was under an extended warranty, they knew this because the vehicle and subsequent warranty were purchased from them! Since they are the business that I purchased both the vehicle and warranty from obviously that would immediately come up on their computer as soon as my account was accessed! They deliberately did not inform me that the repairs were covered under warranty. It is painfully obvious that had I accepted their treatment of me and NOT contacted you(Revdex.com), I would not be receiving this $554.44 check from the warranty company. As of this writing(1/13/15) I have not received any check. Also on 12/17/15 I did not contact Superior complaining of simply "front end noise". The vehicle COLLAPSED TO THE GROUND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE and was not drive-able! THAT is why they were forced to tow it from my home! Finally in regards to the supposed invoice of $905.07, I find it very interesting that their service manager(Tom)informed me that it was going to cost approx $1367 for the repairs yet after receiving my complaint with you(Revdex.com)that cost miraculously dropped to $905.07 I will not be taking my vehicle to Superior again so as soon as I receive the warranty check this matter will be resolved from my end.

Re: Mr. [redacted]2007 Mercedes Benz E35O [redacted]Revdex.com# [redacted]We at Superior Auto Sales were extremely distressed to learn of the subject complaint filed byMr. [redacted]. Our records indicate the, following; , ¦ ! '.• Mr. [redacted] purchased his Mercedes Benz from Superior on May 14,...
2014 with 64,932toiler on the vehicle. .¦ ;• On December 11,2015 Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle to our Service-dept indicatingthat the vehicle made an unusual noise when turning. Our examination revealed a brokenmotor mount, and loose heat shield. The repairs were completed' and the vehicle returnedto Mr. [redacted]; This invoice was' for $ 467.01. ; "'• On December 17,2015 Mx. [redacted] again indicated that the vehicle was making a frontend noise. We had the vehicle towed to pur shop. A visual observation indicated the' vehicle was leaning to one side. Upon placing the vehicle on a lift it was apparent thatthe front spring had broken and when it broke it struck the shock absorber, bending thatalso. The spring and shock absorber were replaced and the vehicle returned to Mr, . .[redacted]. This invoice was for $ 905.07,Although the symptoms may have been similar, the vehicle clearly did not have a broken springwhen it was first brought to Our shop.. We take exception to Mr, [redacted]' accusation that ourprices are ''predatory". In fact pur labor rates are 25°/o lower than most dealerships, and clearly40% lower than the local Mercedes Benz dealer. Upon examining this transaction we feel thatour diagnosis and subsequent repairs were carried put in a professional manner. We also feelthat our billing is accurate, fair, and very competitively priced. There is good news for Mr. [redacted] however. In researching this transaction we discoveredthat Mr. [redacted] had purchased an extended service warranty when he bought his vehicle in2014. This warranty remains in effect. He did not tell our Service Dept. of this when he broughtthe vehicle to us for repairs. For the last 2 weeks, we have been in contact with the warranty company on Mr. [redacted]'behalf. They have agreed to pay $ 554.44 towards these repairs. As of today, we are mailingMr, [redacted] a check for this amount.Upon examination and reflection of the events of this transaction, Superior believes it has actedprofessionally and efficiently,Superior Auto Sales has been in business for over 45 years and is deeply committed tomaintaining satisfied customers, and in resolving any service issues that may arise.Richard R.
